No one, not even biased and dishonest Big Media, can recall Joe Biden ever saying he needed a new law when he removed all of President Donald Trump’s effective border policies by executive action on day one of his White House residency.
House Speaker Michael Johnson (LA-R) was right when just days ago he said that “for months, the President and his White House have claimed they need a new law to take any action on the border. That was patently false, and they knew it all along. They have clearly misled the American people.”
“It is now apparent the President kept the border open as a bargaining chip against Congress and lied about it for months. His actions are as shameful as they are dangerous.”
“As I’ve said for months, in public and private communication with the White House and the American people, the President has ample authority to take a range of actions to stem the flow of illegal immigration. He has a moral and legal responsibility to do all he can to try to reverse the catastrophe he has created.”
On Valentine’s Day Speaker Johnson rejected the Senate Foreign Aid Bill presented by Mitch McConnell and Chuck Schumer.
Johnson warned the Biden Regime, Schumer and McConnell a few days ago when he announced on X that Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas’ “claim that the administration doesn’t “bear responsibility” for our wide open border is shameful. He’s right that the border is broken, but it is he and President Biden who broke it.”
“On Day one they halted deportations, stopped construction of a border wall, and promoted amnesty for millions here illegally,” Johnson set the record straight.
“On 64 occasions, they took direct action to undermine border security,” he noted. “They must take action now to unwind their disastrous policies and secure the border.”

Mayorkas has threatened to release all those illegal aliens currently in detention unless the border bill is passed. As I understand it, the bill gives money to NGOs to facilitate more illegal immigration. Mayorkas personally declined Secret Service protection for RFK JR. While I don’t agree with many of his liberal ideas and am no fan of the Kennedy family, he is deserving of protection. I contacted my Republican Senator about whether she will vote for Mayorkas’ conviction and removal and if not why not. Her response-crickets.

Senators are not responding much lately. John Cornyn, RINO will eventually respond, but it may take months. Ted Cruz responds quick.
