Since Jan. 3, Republicans have added around 20,000 active voters, according to the Utah Elections Office. During that same time, Democrats have lost around 8,000 active voters and the number of unaffiliated voters has dropped by nearly 12,000.
This looks to be a heavy trend nationally. It appears the ONLY way Democrats could come close to winning many of their 2022 races is by considerable cheating.
John Lee, the North Las Vegas Democrat mayor announced last week that he’s running for re-election as a Republican because the Democrats have an “anti-American” agenda.
“The party moved past me. In fact, Democrats are now leaving that party in droves because of the socialist agenda that has taken place in the Democratic Party,” Lee announced. “They’re totally anti-American. There was nowhere for people who thought and felt like I did about the virtues and values and morals of being a good American. It was time to leave. They have destroyed the Democratic Party now.”
“They had an election recently for leadership, and four of the five people were card-carrying members of the Socialist Party. It’s not the party that I grew up with 25 years ago in this environment, and it’s not the party I can stand with anymore,” he continued.
“The working class, or working men and women of this country, and also the small business owners are not a part of the conversation anymore. It all has to do with the elitists and it has to do with the socialists. That is not the agenda that I have in mind for this country of the future,” he said.
“When you’re a pro-life Democrat, a pro-gun Democrat, and you’re a very conservative person, that’s not really well known in the Democratic Party anymore,” he added. “And so for me to hang on as long as I did, hoping the party would change, it didn’t, it got worse.”
This is bad news to Democrats because in December 2021, data from Nevada’s secretary of state indicated 2.5 times more voters switched from Democrat to Republican than the reverse that month.
From January 1, 2020 through May of that year, Nevada saw over 6,500 former Democrats switch to Republican.
🔹Since January 2022, over 21,000 Massachusetts Democrats switched as registered new Republicans.
🔹Harriet Holman, a popular Black Democratic council member in Dorchester County, South Carolina, announced recently they will be running for reelection as a Republican.
🔹In just one county alone, local news are reporting over “1,000 blue-collar Democrats in Ohio’s Mahoning County have switched to being Republicans” since the first of the year.
🔹In March 2022, Nebraska’s Democratic party lost 1,787 voters and the Republican party gained 1,985 voters.
As of May 10, 6,440 more Nebraskans were registered as Republicans in May than there was in April. The Democrats saw a loss of 3,841 in one month.
Hispanics Trending to GOP
🔹In December, a Wall Street Journal poll shocked the Democrats when learning that Hispanic voters are now split between Republicans and Democrats on the generic ballot at 37%. A further 22% responded that they were undecided.
🔹Texas Democrats were stunned last year with Republican gains in Hispanic-heavy communities throughout the state. In the border city of McAllen, the GOP celebrated Javier Villalobos’ mayoral victory in a region that has historically voted for Democrats.
🔹In November 2021, Texas House of Representatives member Henry Grover switched from Democrat to Republican.
🔹Also, in November 2021, Texas House of Representatives member Ryan Guillen switched from Democrat to Republican.
“Friends, something is happening in South Texas, and many of us are waking up to the fact that the values of those in Washington, D.C., are not our values, not the values of most Texans,” Guillen said.
“During the 2020 election, we saw certain districts in South Texas as having a promising future for the GOP as we began to see a lot of Mexican-Americans, as well as in other states with Cuban-Americans and Colombian-Americans,” Macarena Martinez, the Republican National Committee’s Texas communications director, said.
“But here in Texas, we saw a huge shift to the GOP during President Trump’s second presidential election, given his stance on immigration, given his stance on the border wall, backing the blue, supporting law and order,” she continued, also noting the number of people employed by oil and gas companies in South Texas turned away from Biden’s energy policies.
🔹Oct. 2020, Louisiana Lt. Governor Angie Angelle switched from Democrat to Republican.
🔹In Jan. 2020, New Jersey representative Jeff Van Drew switched from Democrat to Republican.
🔹March 2018, Steve Lebsock of Colorado House of Representatives switched from Democrat to Republican.
🔹In 2017, Governor of West Virginia Jim Justice switched from Democrat to Republican. He had previously been a Republican prior to 2015.
🔹January 2017, West Virginia House of Delegates Rupie Phillips moved from Democrat to Republican.
🔹By May 2016, the election year of Donald J. Trump versus Hillary Clinton, over 57,000 Democrats in Pennsylvania moved to the Republican party. Over 25,000 Independents registered as Republicans.
Since 1994, there has been 76 state lawmakers who switched from Democrat to Republican. State senators: 22, State representatives: 54.
This compares to only 21 state lawmakers who switched to Democrat. State senators: 6, State representatives: 15.
As of May 2022, Mississippi has had an increase of 15 Republicans; Georgia has had an increase of 13 Republicans. Louisiana has had an increase of 12 Republicans; Alabama GOP has 6; M has 5; Texas has 5; West Virginia has 5, Kentucky has 4; Arkansas has 3; Kansas 2, New Hampshire 2, Rhode Island 2; South Dakota 2; and Arizona, Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina,Tennessee, and Wyoming have 1 additional Republican each.
A joint statement by Texas Governor Greg Abbott and National Border Patrol Council (NBPC) President Brandon Judd released Thursday, May 12, 2022, attacked the Biden Administration for providing baby formula to illegal immigrant holding facilities as American parents scramble amid a nationwide shortage of the product.
“Children are our most vulnerable, precious Texans and deserve to be put first. Yet, President Biden has turned a blind eye to parents across America who are facing the nightmare of a nationwide baby formula shortage.”
“While mothers and fathers stare at empty grocery store shelves in a panic, the Biden Administration is happy to provide baby formula to illegal immigrants coming across our southern border. This is yet another one in a long line of reckless, out-of-touch priorities from the Biden Administration when it comes to securing our border and protecting Americans.”
“Our children deserve a president who puts their needs and survival first – not one who gives critical supplies to illegal immigrants before the very people he took an oath to serve.”
Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) also delivered remarks about Biden’s failures with the continual food security and pricing crisis.
Greene identifies the origin and outcome of stress within the supply chain caused by government intervention into the overall system. MTG then notes that FDA rules and regulations make supply interruptions worse.
Additionally, in the background of the federal DHS and HHS contracts for food products, including baby food/formula, most of those federal contracts contain a ‘first right‘ or ‘prioritized continuity‘ provision, creating a distribution outcome (via contractual mandate) where illegal aliens end up with preferential allocation.
Is the tide beginning to turn against the left? Even if so, there is still much more work to be done to save our freedoms.
It is critical to understand and share about the most important tool that the leftists and globalists use to manipulate public perceptions and opinions. This tool is the Overton Window, and once it is fully understood, it can be a powerful tool to use against those who mislead.
🔹First created by Joseph Overton, a former senior Vice President of the Mackinac Center for Public Policy, the Overton window is a mechanism used by political elite to determine the viability of a movement or idea.
🔹If something is within “the window,” it is seen as a “normal” or “respectable” position or belief that a citizen is allowed to possess.
🔹If a belief or movement is placed on the outside of the window, it is deemed “extreme,” “outlandish,” or “foolish” by the powers that be.
🔹This is an incredibly effective tool that can be used to control an entire population because it only requires a powerful individual or small group of individuals to first decide what is acceptable or extreme, and then use the government, religious institutions, and the media to push ideas that are deemed “acceptable.”
🔹It is especially potent because this “window” is never fixed in one place, meaning that it can be moved in any direction based on both external factors and the user’s beliefs.
The Overton Window in Action
The issue only became “popular” after a few court cases and favorable media attention.
A great example of the Overton Window in action can be seen in the Gay, Lesbian, Transsexual, Bi-Sexual, or Pan-Unicorn rights movement. In the 1990s, and even in George W. Bush’s second term over a decade ago, this movement had very little political power behind it.
Even with the heavy artillery provided by Hollywood elites, and leftist strongholds like Massachusetts and California, most Americans were either apathetic or opposed to gay marriage and the gay lobby itself was never able to portray themselves as a mainstream part of American society.
This all changed in 2008 with California’s Proposition 8, a ballot referendum where a majority of the Californians voted in favor of defining a marriage as between a man and a woman.
Even though the gay lobby lost the popular vote, they were able to overturn the will of the people by appealing the vote and ensuring that the case ended up in the hands of a leftist judge. Their legal victory over Proposition 8 signaled a shift in the window, in which homosexuality and other similar identities were now mainstream, and any criticism of them was now “bigoted” or “extreme.”
Because of this, we have now seen stories of:
🔹executives being fired from their jobs for believing in traditional marriage.
🔹businesses being boycotted and banned from cities because they wouldn’t bow to the gay lobby.
🔹Christian bakers being fined six figures and slapped with a gag order because they refused to bake a cake for a gay couple.
Such a change would not have been possible without moving the Overton window in a direction favored by Marxist Liberals.
How we can manipulate the Overton Window
The political elite hates it when someone like Trump turns the window back on them.
Just because these politicians and social engineers have enjoyed success in using the Overton Window, this doesn’t mean that their enemies can’t use it as well.
🔹One notable example of the potential that shifting the Overton window would create, can be seen with Donald Trump’s run for President. Before Trump announced his candidacy, the race was going to look very much like a repeat from 2012, where a Republican and Democratic candidate that were both anointed by the media and the political class would pretend to have major disagreements over policy and ideology, but would really disagree over one or two minor issues.
🔹This all changed when Trump declared his candidacy, at roughly the exact same time that news surrounding the shooting death of Kate Steinle at the hands of an illegal immigrant began to circulate.
Trump made illegal immigration and border security his primary issue and followed up with a variety of pro-America First within the popularity of the Overton Window boundaries. Soon his candidacy garnered widespread support amongst a wide cross-section of the American public.
Trump’s presidency itself was solid evidence of America’s ability to move the window in direction of the will of the people rather than the will of elite propagandists and corruption.
Trump’s focus on America First MAGA issues resulted in the window being moved further to the right than it has been in decades. Even a decade ago, a modern border wall and a ban on migrants from countries compromised by terrorists would’ve been unheard of. Trump made these proposals mainstream.
How did the elite media deal with this? They fought every step of the way. Just do a social media search on “Trump immigration” to their vile propaganda.
Understanding and using the Overton Window is critical for patriotic freedom loving America to shift public opinion away from being woke, critical race theory, believing the sea is rising or even the next tragedy of the season (new ice age, or global temperatures increasing, or climate change or the sky is falling).
Americans must not allow politicians, government, media or foreign nations to control the Overton Window in regards to our rights, freedoms and values. Such efforts include our free speech battles with Facebook, culture war with campus radicals, and exposés concerning Hillary’s, Obama’s, or the Biden Crime Family’s dirty secrets.
We must destroy the ratings of mainstream media, cable news, social engineered television programming and Hollywood propaganda by shifting the window further in the direction for Americans freedoms and rights first.
Here is another classic example of how politicians try to move the “Overton Window” to favor their benefit or stance on an issue.
🔹In 2010, Texas Governor Rick Perry decided three large freeways needed to be turned into toll roads to bring in more tax revenue.
🔹This idea was totally outside the comfort levels of Texans “Overton Window.”
🔹Perry’s allies decided that instead of putting forth legislation to turn those freeways into toll roads, the narrative went out by mainstream media that private companies from other countries would operate the toll roads.
🔹Predictably, citizens response was not only, “NO, HELL NO! How dare you let a foreign company put a toll on an American.”
🔹Media narrative and propaganda went into full mode to bring the idea safely into the Overton Window realm of possibilities: “If anyone is going to charge a toll on Texas soil, it dang sure better be someone from the Lone Star State…at the very least an American.”
The window moved from something unacceptable to a what the gullible public deemed a reasonable option.
Have you driven through metropolitan Austin lately? Proudly, the community boasts a motto of “Keep Austin Weird.” Their window is far left than practically the rest of Texas and most of the US.

“Do you believe the death of Antonin Scalia was a part of this same plot,” the Interviewer asked Ryan White during a series of interviews in early 2021. “Or is that — do you know if that was a separate?”
“It was the same people,” White, being interviewed for Georgia Attorney Lin Wood, replied. “He had a backup plan. He was their biggest threat being the most conservative justice.”
“Justice Scalia actually — I believe he found out about this, the plans, and he went to the White House. Like a week before his death I believe he found out what they were trying to do, when they moved away from the overall attack of where these people lived or, you know, they would attack around the holidays when more than one justice would be in their home, things like this. And, again, Roberts was providing this.”
“But they had to take him out. He was seen as their biggest obstacle. So, the same basic group that was involved were given access to the ranch where he was found. They talked about how they did it. They had a couple different options.”
“But it was discussed prior to his death, what they intended to do, where they could possibly do it, how they could do it, who they would need. The records are there at the Cibolo Ranch.”
“One person was brought in — there was three men. One person was brought in as a temp worker. The other two — same team — were brought in as servants for a group that was there hunting.”
“And they discussed how it was done, that they used dipso –dimethylsulfoxide, which is a fairly inert chemical. It just goes through your skin. But if you mix it with a poison or a drug or something like that, it’ll go directly in your system and overload you.”
“I believe that’s why he was found with the pillow over his face; he was struggling to breathe. He couldn’t breathe, he was choking.”
“And this particular chemical, you can tailor it to the person; if they have a drug problem, you could put Fentanyl in it and overdose them, if they have a heart condition, it would take very little to go directly in.”
“It would be like a direct injection into the heart. And they talk about how they did it. And Roberts is on the phone with these people discussing the successor, that he wanted a say in it because now it was only gonna be one person and he wanted to pick that person, and he wanted a say in who was going to take it.”
“And, of course, there was a lot of people that were talking about Eric Holder taking it, all kinds of people, but he wanted a say in who was going to take over Justice Scalia’s spot. And I don’t think he got it. I mean, obviously it didn’t happen because President Trump was here, but he did want it.”
“And this was all prior, the discussions and him complaining that he wasn’t getting any say prior to his death, his sudden death.”
INTERVIEWER: “So, aside from the — aside from Roberts being (inaudible) on this, did (Rod) Rosenstein or anyone outside of the White House — had they been made aware of the plans, perhaps in Hillary’s camp, that you can speak about?”
“Oh, Hillary and Obama knew about it. I mean, it was supposed to be done under her watch, her term, so that they could pack the Court. They were fully aware of it.”
“Rod has an intense hatred of Hillary even though he worked with her, and he had to. He’s not fond of Obama, really. He’s only fond of himself. But this was plans to be enacted through them, and Rod was integral in wanting the Hammer system through Baltimore.”
Note: The Hammer was a system designed for spying on foreign parties that began being utilized on domestic Americans at least as early as the Obama Administration.
“This was why he was the only U.S. attorney to keep his job under Obama. Now, Obama fired every U.S. attorney at the same time except Rod — he was the only one — and this is why, because he was running things for them. He was involved in their plans, and he was running the Hammer and things through Baltimore.”
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has opened an investigation into the Texas Bar Foundation for its possibly aiding and abetting the mass influx of illegal aliens. The investigation is based on credible complaints filed by U.S. Congressman Troy Nehls (TX-22) and members of the public.
The Texas Bar Foundation is alleged to have knowingly given donations to entities that encourage, participate in, and fund illegal immigration at the Texas-Mexico border, and potentially using taxpayer dollars received from the State Bar of Texas, which appoints the Foundation’s trustees. If true, this is likely an improper use of charitable funds because the funds are diverted from their intended—and potentially unlawful—purpose.
The Attorney General is granted broad powers under the Texas Constitution and by statute to investigate charities to ensure they are operating for the public benefit and in compliance with state law.
“Unfortunately, at the very time that our state is facing an unprecedented border crisis and our brave men and women are serving Texas in Operation Lone Star, it appears that the liberal State Bar’s handpicked cronies are misusing charitable funds to make the situation even worse. I will not let this illegal behavior continue any further. Thank you to Congressman Nehls and other concerned citizens for bringing this to my attention.”
Texas AG Ken Paxton
Rep. Troy Nehls, a Republican congressman from Texas, and other complainants gave him probable cause to open the investigation into the Texas Bar Foundation.
The Texas-Mexico Border is currently being crossed by more than 200,000 illegal migrants a month.
“Go ahead sleepy Joe, continue down this path,” Nehls said. “And there will be that tsunami in 2022.. The American people don’t agree with what’s taking place at our southern border, and the 100,000 lives that are lost each year because of fentanyl.”
Paxton demanded the bar turn over to his investigators evidence that includes documentation showing:
All grants to immigration-related charitable programs and organizations for the past 10 years;
The monitoring, reporting and accountability requirements for use of those funds awarded to such organizations;
the Foundation’s final accounting and reporting from the grantee organizations reflecting how the funds were specifically utilized;
Board and/or committee meeting minutes discussing the awarding, monitoring, reporting and accounting of any such programs and/or grantee organizations.

In 2020, defying lockdowns and wearing masks, we took a 32 day roadtrip from the Texas Hill Country to Washington DC and back.
Our first stop was near Fort Hood in a central Killeen Texas neighborhood. If the walls of the circa 1950 ranch-style house at 605 Oakhill Drive could talk, they’d sing!
It’s a nice house but doesn’t have any visual features that dramatically set it apart from the other homes in the area not far from Conder Park. It’s a one-story, brick home with a rather large mailbox out front.
As big Elvis Presley fans, we thought there might be a landmark sign designating it as the house the most famous entertainer in history lived while going through Army training.
At the height of his early fame, the Army drafted Elvis in 1958, and at the Memphis induction center, he received his shots, his buzz cut, and his orders. On March 28, he and others were sent by military bus to Fort Hood, the Second Armored Division, General George S. Patton’s “Hell on Wheels” wild bunch.
Enroute the new troops stopped for a restaurant lunch break in Hillsboro causing “a small riot” when teenage customers recognized him.
Elvis didn’t want any special treatment offered. His desire was to be just another G.I. His fellow soldiers saw that in him and Elvis became one of the guys.
Private Simon Vega recalled, “I thought he was gonna get special treatment but he did KP, guard duty, everything, just like us.”
When basic training was completed, the Army allowed soldiers to live off base as long as they had dependents living in the area. It was not long before Elvis’ parents, grandmother, and a friend traveled to Killeen where they found a three-bedroom home to rent from Chester Crawford, an attorney who charged an outrageous $700 a month.
Soon crowds began showing up on Oakhill Drive to catch a glimpse of Elvis. It was common for him to stand outside and talk to fans for hours. Occasionally, he detoured through neighbors’ backyards to avoid the crowds, and according to neighbor Janie Sullivan, the clothesline in their yard once caught Elvis and the dog bit him.
Not everyone was thrilled by Elvis’ presence in the neighborhood. Some Oak Hill residents called the police to complain about the clouds of dust stirred up by the cars and the carnival-like atmosphere.
While completing an additional ten weeks of advanced tank training, Elvis had to take emergency leave to fly to Memphis to be with his mother, Gladys, who had returned home to be hospitalized. She died two days later on August 14.
After his mother’s funeral, Elvis returned and put in long days at Fort Hood learning to be a tanker. During his final days at Fort Hood, large crowds gathered outside his house, and some nights a hundred people kept vigil. The last night, on September 19, 1958, Elvis and his gang gathered at the home to make the drive to the troop train that would take him and 1,360 other G.I.s to Brooklyn to sail for Germany.
Biographers and friends reported that Elvis’ time at Fort Hood and in the Army was among the happiest of his life. For a time, he was almost “just another soldier.” Everyone agreed that Elvis was a good soldier, one of the best in the company.
His longtime girlfriend, Anita Wood, said, “he had finally found himself.”
Elvis said later, “I learned a lot about people in the Army. I never lived with other people before and had a chance to find out how they think.”
In 1958, longtime Killeen resident Edith Carlile lived four doors down from the house Pvt. Elvis Presley lived in with his parents, Vernon and Gladys. Presley rented the home for seven months from a local lawyer when he was stationed at Fort Hood.
“The street was extremely crowded with cars going by,” said Carlile, who lived next door to the house Presley lived in before she passed away a few years ago. “People were standing in the yard, wanting to touch him, kiss him.”
Carlile was a mother of four at the time, and wasn’t really into the rock ’n’ roll music that Presley is famous for.
“I’m not a fan of music of that age,” Carlile told a local news reporter, adding she was more into the tunes of the big band era.
Her children did get autographs from Presley, but Carlile said she threw the signed pieces of paper away years later.
She said the rock ’n’ roll king dated a few of the local girls when he was here, and his presence made a big impact, especially in the Oakhill Drive neighborhood, which in 1958 was home to lawyers, business owners and other upper-middle class families.
More than 64 years later, the house is still standing, and although it’s aged, the outside doesn’t look dramatically different from when Presley lived there.
Surprisingly, more recent owners of the Presley’s rental house indicated they didn’t even know the house had once been lived in by Presley when they bought it some years ago.
To this day Elvis fans regularly pop by the house to take a video, some puctures or inquire about the former home of the King.
Some drive hundreds of miles to do so. Others want to peep inside or look at the backyard.
Although there has been updated renovations (exterior windows and roof) owners are reluctant to offer details.
In November 2006, the 2,400-square-foot house was placed for purchase on eBay.
The owner at the time, Myka Allen-Johnson, a sales representative for CenTex Homes, said she wanted to sell the home to someone who would understand the historical significance.
“I didn’t buy the house with the intention of selling it on eBay,” Allen-Johnson told the Killeen Daily Herald in 2006. “I just don’t want people to forget that he lived here in Killeen.”
Penny Love was 3 or 4 years old and lived around the corner in 1958. She recalls her family seeing Presley sneak through her backyard to avoid the crowd that waited out front. She said she would sometimes sit on Presley’s father, Vernon’s lap on the front porch.
The community has missed out on any significant tourism and marketing opportunities over the years. In August 1958, Presley fans petitioned the Killeen City Council to change the name of Oakhill Drive to Presley Drive, bringing nationwide publicity to the area. Today, however, Oakhill is still the name of the street.
The owner said she allows Presley fans to take a quick picture of the front of the house. But those who try to pry closer are not totally welcome.
The backyard has a steep incline, she said, which can be dangerous, and a German shepherd patrols back there, too.
Chances are, if you live in any large city in America, George Soros owns your District Attorney. This is why DAs obediently satisfy their Sugar Daddy Soros’ plan to keep liberal demonstrators, drug gang members, Jussie Smollett type celebrities, and local corrupt politicians out of jail.
A growing trail of violent crime is sweeping across America with an ample percentage coming from illegal aliens and invaders. However, countless murders, robberies, assaults and property destruction are the result of “woke” district attorneys who run their offices with little to no accountability, limited prosecutorial experience, a propensity for crime, and a trend of unfairly prosecuting political adversaries.
At the state level, far-left radical beneficiaries of the George Soros “Secretary of State Project,” the American non-profit, progressive 527 political action committee, focused on electing “reform-minded progressive” Secretaries of State in battleground states. These offices typically oversee the election process in their state–thus, the 2020 election fiasco. The Project is funded by Soros and members of the Democracy Alliance.
The original intent in 2006 was to protect Obama by having control of secretary of state offices in five key states — Iowa, Minnesota, Nevada, New Mexico and Ohio. The initiative expanded and is a major reason President Trump is not in the White House today.
On the local level, violent crimes and election fraud against Americans continue to surge due to district attorneys and state attorneys funded by Soros and his affiliated foundations. Cities that have been specifically targeted by this progressive approach include Los Angeles, Chicago, Philadelphia, Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, Phoenix, St. Louis, New York, Baltimore, Albuquerque, Orlando, and more.
Some of the counties include Contra Coasta, California; Orange and Osceola, Florida; Ulster, New York; Bexar, Dallas, Fort Bend and Harris, Texas; Loudain and Northfolk, Virginia.
Since 2016, when Soros first began to back the campaigns of district attorneys there has been some $30 million in funding tracked from Soros through a personal network of political action committees (PACs) formed specifically to back radical, left-wing DA candidates.
George Soros District Attorneys, Commonwealth Attorneysand Circuit Attorneys
Here is list by state and jurisdiction of every DA identified by the Capital Research Center (CRC) as receiving Soros funding, and some notable details about each. Some of the commentary comes from CRC observations.
Diana Becton—Contra Costa County, California. Backed by $275,000 from Soros in 2018, Becton became the first woman and first African American elected to serve as DA for Contra Costa County. She is also one of the first in the position to have zero prior experience as a prosecutor. During Becton’s first years in office four Contra Costa cities made the list of the top 100 most dangerous cities in California in 2018, and both violent crime and property crime increased by several percent during 2019.
George Gascon—Los Angeles County, California. Soros has spent a combined $6 million on California DA races, much of it wasted on failed candidates, but almost half was spent on the successful campaign of George Gascon for Los Angles DA. Soros was the largest spender in the race, and Gascon won easily.
Monique Worrell—Ninth Judicial Circuit (Orange and Osceola County), Florida. Monique Worrell is the second Soros candidate to become state attorney for Orange and Osceola County. Her predecessor, Aramis Ayala, was a “long-shot candidate” elected in 2016 with the help of more than $1.3 million in spending by the Florida Safety and Justice PAC. Ayala immediately earned a reputation for her activist approach, which led to her removal from multiple high-profile murder cases by two different Republican governors. During Ayala’s tenure, violent crime increased dramatically, with murders increasing by 26 percent during 2020.
After Ayala left office to run for Congress, Worrell filled her shoes, with $1 million from Soros’s Democracy PAC surging into the race at the last minute to help her claim victory against her moderate opponent in 2020.
Darius Pattillo—Henry County, Georgia. Receiving just under $150,000 from Soros through the Georgia Safety and Justice PAC, Patello was elected in 2016 and has remained the most unremarkable Soros-backed DA elected to date. In fact, Soros’s funding of Patello nearly went unreported, possibly because Patello does not seem to share the radical views of his fellow Soros DAs.
James Stewart—Caddo Parish, Louisiana. Probably the least well-known and least radical Soros-funded DA, James Stewart was elected as the DA of Caddo Parish, Louisiana, in 2015 with the help of more than $930,000 in funding from Soros. Stewart has enacted few radical reforms since his election, potentially a disappointing result for Soros. His opponents at the time worried that his progressive views on criminal justice would be “detrimental to the safety of Caddo Parish.”
Scott Colom—Circuit Court District Sixteen, Mississippi. Another of the lesser-known Soros-funded Das, Colom quietly received over $926,000 in funding from Soros to help unseat a long-time incumbent in 2015. Colom oversees District 16 in Mississippi, which includes Lowndes, Oktibbeha, Clay, and Noxubee Counties. Colom was recently recommended by Rep. Bernie Thompson (D-MS) for a position as a judge for the U.S. District Court of the Northern District of Mississippi. Meanwhile, violent crime, specifically gun violence, remains a serious and growing problem for cities and counties in the 16th Circuit, a problem that Colom has been accused of doing little to combat.
Jody Owens—Hinds County, Mississippi. Aided by a $500,000 contribution from Soros’s Mississippi Justice and Public Safety PAC, Owens was elected in 2019 after running on a platform that promised reform and “alternatives to incarceration.” Owens brought controversy with him to the DA’s office. In 2019, Owens was accused of sexually harassing his female colleagues while working at the Southern Poverty Law Center, an organization with a well-documented proclivity for enabling and ignoring sexual harassment in the workplace.
Owens has also recently brought highly questionable murder charges against two police officers. The charges were dismissed with prejudice for lack of evidence that officers “caused any injury” to the alleged victim. Under Owens, Jackson has become one of the deadliest cities in the nation, and in 2021 the city saw over 150 homicides (98 murders per 100,000 residents), an all-time high.
Kim Gardner—St. Louis, Missouri. One of the most famous and polarizing Soros-backed DAs, Kim Gardner has served as the circuit attorney of crime-ridden St. Louis since 2017 and has repeatedly used her office to prosecute conservatives while allowing criminals to walk free.
In 2018, Gardner launched a bogus criminal investigation against Missouri’s Republican governor, which led to a special investigation into her office that found probable cause that Gardner engaged in professional misconduct by hiring a private investigator who has since been charged with perjury and evidence tampering. Gardner was also the lead attorney in the absurd prosecution of Mark McCloskey, but was removed from the case by a judge who wrote “the Circuit Attorney’s conduct raises the appearance that she initiated a criminal prosecution for political purposes.”
Raul Torrez—Bernalillo County (Albuquerque), New Mexico. Although his ties to Soros are less well known and his ideas are slightly less radical, Albuquerque’s DA also got his start from $107,000 in Soros cash that boosted his unopposed campaign in 2016. As of mid-November, Albuquerque had experienced 102 homicides in 2021, the highest number ever recorded, compared to the 67 reported at the same time last year.
Meanwhile, Torrez is busy campaigning for New Mexico Attorney General. Soros’s money is likely to make an appearance in that upcoming race as well.
Alvin Bragg—Manhattan, New York. One of Soros’s newest DA’s, Bragg was elected in 2021 as the DA of Manhattan, largely thanks to approximately $1.1 million given by Soros that year to groups supporting Bragg. Even though Bragg has barely been in office, his tenure is already shaping up as a disaster. After Bragg released a memo stating that his office would not be seeking prison sentences for crimes such as armed robbery, drug dealing, and burglary, more than nine prosecutors in Manhattan quit. Interestingly, one area where Bragg is not expected to be overly lenient is an investigation into President Donald Trump’s business practices, which Bragg conveniently took over after assuming office.
David Clegg—Ulster County, New York. Soros cash to the tune of at least $184,000 was used to push Ulster County DA David Clegg across the finish line in his 2019 election, but it was also the source of a major controversy at the time. In an embarrassing guffaw, the New York Justice and Public Safety PAC paid for mailers that featured Clegg shaking hands with a prominent criminal and left-wing activist. Under Clegg, gun crimes and shootings have surged dramatically, and high profile cases have been badly mishandled, including a murder case in which the suspect was released because Clegg’s office failed to file an indictment on time.
Larry Krasner—Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Among the most famous Soros-backed DAs, Krasner has been supported by more than $2 million from Soros funneled through the Pennsylvania Justice and Public Safety PAC and the Philadelphia Justice and Public Safety PAC. Krasner was reelected in 2021 with the help of a $259,000 contribution from Soros. Under Krasner’s watch, crime rates have soared, and in 2021, Philadelphia became the murder capital of the United States with the highest per capita homicide rate of the country’s 10 largest cities.
Jack Stollsteimer—Delaware County, Pennsylvania. Lesser known but also well financed by Soros, Stollsteimer was the first Democratic DA ever elected in Delaware County, boosted by roughly $100,000 in ads paid for by Soros during 2019. While still undoubtedly a progressive, Stollsteimer is much less radical than Krasner and has not been openly hostile to police. He did, however, recently feud with police over the graphic details of a report on a rape in broad daylight on a train with many witnesses, none of whom tried to intervene. During Stollsteimer’s first year in office, homicides in Delaware County increased 127 percent, though many attribute this to the county’s proximity to Philadelphia.
Joe Gonzalez—Bexar County (San Antonio), Texas. George Soros has even dared to mess with Texas. Joe Gonzalez is one of Soros’s favorite DAs, receiving nearly $1 million in backing from the billionaire during his 2018 campaign, upsetting incumbent Democrat Nico LaHood in the primary. Just as in Dallas, violent crime reportedly increased by 15 percent in San Antonio under Gonzalez, while convictions dropped by 17 percent.
John Creuzot—Dallas County, Texas. Backed by an estimated $236,000 from Soros, Creuzot became the DA of Dallas County in 2018 and immediately moved forward with a plethora of radical reform policies, including decriminalizing theft under $750, criminal trespass, and drug possession. During his first year in office crime reportedly increased by 15 percent while total convictions dropped by 30 percent. Most recently, Creuzot failed to get a conviction in straightforward case against Billy Chemirmir, a Kenyan immigrant charged with murdering and robbing 18 elderly women in assisted living facilities. He was found with his alleged victims’ personal papers and jewelry in his possession at the time of his arrest.
Brian Middleton—Fort Bend County, Texas. Although it went unnoticed and unreported by the media, Soros played a major role in the 2019 campaign of Fort Bend County DA Brian Middleton, spending nearly $200,000 on advertising in support of his campaign. Middleton has been extremely moderate as far as Soros-backed candidates go, and as a result Fort Bend County has not seen a dramatic spike in crime.
Kim Ogg—Harris County (Houston), Texas. In 2016, Kim Ogg became the state’s first Soros-backed DA after Soros spent more than $600,000 on the race. As one of the first reform DA’s backed by Soros, Ogg is also one of the most moderate. She has stopped prosecuting marijuana offenses, but often seeks high cash bail, causing her to be ostracized by many progressives and apparently Soros.
José Garza—Travis County (Austin), Texas. In 2020, Garza was elected as Austin’s DA with the aid of more than $400,000 in ads paid for by the Texas Justice and Public Safety PAC, one of Soros’s private PACs that has received roughly $3.6 million from the billionaire since its creation in 2018. Since assuming office, Garza has developed a reputation for letting violent offenders go free on little to no bail.
In 2020, Garza released hundreds of inmates from jail over COVID-19 protocols, even though only six people in Austin at the time were known to have COVID-19. In 2021, Garza released a man with eight prior felony convictions after he was caught toting a gun in a meth-fueled car chase with police. After his release with an ankle monitor, the man allegedly went on a crime spree committing 10 armed robberies. Since Garza was elected, police budgets have been slashed, and Austin has experienced skyrocketing crime rates and a record number of homicides.
Parisa Dehghani-Tafti—Arlington County and City of Falls Church, Virginia. Backed by over $600,000 from the Justice and Public Safety PAC, one of George Soros’s many personal PACs, Dehghani-Tafti won her 2019 election by toppling a moderate Democratic incumbent and has been a center of controversy ever since. Dehghani-Tafti, along with several other Soros-backed DAs in Virginia, is facing a recall petition after crimes like felony aggravated assault rose 40 percent during her first year in office.
Steve Descano—Fairfax County, Virginia. Steve Descano, who is also facing a recall petition, was elected in 2019 and has endorsed a progressive platform typical of the left-wing DA faction. Descano has made it his office’s official policy not to prosecute more than 20 different crimes including shoplifting for goods under $1,000, prostitution, and indecent exposure. Descano’s initial campaign benefitted from approximately $600,000 from Soros.
Buta Biberaj—Loudoun County, Virginia. As Loudoun County District Attorney, Buta Biberaj has championed an anti-incarceration approach to the job, but made headlines for personally seeking jail time for Scott Smith, a father who was arrested for misdemeanor disorderly conduct at a Loudoun County School Board meeting while protesting the School Board’s cover-up of his 14-year-old daughter’s rape by a transgender boy in a school bathroom. Smith’s defense attorneys reported that it was “completely unheard of” for a DA to personally handle a misdemeanor, much less to pursue jail time, court-ordered anger management, and a hefty fine. Biberaj’s campaign in 2019 was boosted by over $650,000 in Soros cash, and she is now facing a recall petition.
Ramin Fatehi—Norfolk County, Virginia. One of the latest additions to Soros’s collection of rogue prosecutors, Ramin Fatehi was one of very few Democrats to win a Virginia election in 2021, largely thanks to about $220,000 in funding from Soros. Fatehi has yet to make a name for himself as DA, but he ran on the typical progressive platform of promising to abolish cash bail and decriminalize marijuana possession.
Using the same playbook successfully followed in Hungary, Greece, Britain, and a dozen other countries, Soros-funded groups were behind anti-Trump mobs that blocked streets, set fires, injured police officers, and destroyed property the day after his 2017 national election. As expected, they turned up the volume in 2020.
Fantasies of Being a God
An alarming trait of George Soros comes from many interviews over the years when he admitted he has a fascination and fantasy of being “a god.”
“I admit that I have always harbored an exaggerated view of self-importance — to put it bluntly, I fancied myself as some kind of god,” he wrote as far back as 1987.
“It is a sort of disease when you consider yourself some kind of god, the creator of everything, but I feel comfortable about it now since I began to live it out,” he revealed to The Independent in 1993.
On British television he bragged, “Next to my fantasies about being God, I also have very strong fantasies of being mad.”
In 2002, Soros was convicted by a French court of insider trading, but his political power became so great it didn’t matter. His mode of operation was to buy out judges, prosecutors and local leaders. The same greed successfully worked on national politicians and administrations too.
Soros and his Open Society Foundations (OSF) is a major funder illegal immigration into Europe and now America.
Leaked documents from Soros’ OSF show that the organization’s goal behind funding the Black Lives Matter movement is ultimately to federalize America’s police forces.
A Wikileaks release revealed that Soros’ far-left group, “Demos,” main goal is to ensure “the complete globalization of America’s culture in order to balkanize and effectively destroy the very nature of what it means to be an American.
This is by the same playbook Soros groups have used very effectively throughout Europe.
This goal includes the implementation of two specific United Nation agendas to “eradicate National sovereignty to the United Nations in favor of a globally controlled centralized government, which includes the diaphanous agenda of climate change.”
In his own words, documented on video, Soros said his paid groups are “transforming the public narrative” to elevate the values of community and racial equity, which is really just a “gentler way of alluding to the elimination of US free speech and America’s individual 1st amendment rights, a thing that has already been augmented in Europe.”
In the Soros funded Demos document is the playbook being used by liberal governors and mayors throughout America. It entitled “Police Reform: How to Take Advantage of the Crisis of the Moment and Drive Long-Term Institutional Change in Police-Community Practice.”
Soros is so powerful that, through then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, United States taxpayers spent $9 millions on the Soros-backed campaign to take over Albania politics in 2016.
Documents secured by the political watchdog Judicial Watch, using the American Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), revealed American funds were into a ‘Justice for All’ campaign to reform the judicial system in Albania in 2016. The campaign was run by Soros’s East West Management Institute.
“The Obama administration quietly spent at least $9 million in US taxpayers’ dollars in direct collusion with left-wing billionaire George Soros’s backing of a socialist government in Albania,” Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton stated.
Soros is a billionaire and “shouldn’t be receiving taxpayer support to advance his radical left agenda to undermine freedom here at home and abroad,” Fitton added.
Going Woke With Grooming
The same game plan is in action as used in Greece a decade ago, London eight years ago and Bahrain three years ago. Soros’ “non-profit” American groups promote abortion, euthanasia, overpopulation, atheism, homosexuality, same-sex marriage, feminism, and transgenderism.
In 2019, using his now tried and truly perfected playbook, game plans mean his owned politician slaves use taxpayer money to “destabilize” countries as they did in 2019 with the democratic government of the Balkan nation of Macedonia, north of Greece.
“The cash flows through the State Department and the famously corrupt U.S. Agency of International Development (USAID), which is charged with providing global economic, development and humanitarian assistance,” Judical Watch reported.
The group obtained FOIA records revealing President Obama’s U.S. ambassador to Macedonia, Jess L. Baily, “has worked behind the scenes with Soros’ Open Society Foundation to funnel large sums of American dollars for the cause.”
During Obama’s presidency, Judicial Watch proved the White House Administration secured pipelines through the southern border to get more illegal immigrants into the U.S.
In one instance, per the Soros plan, immigrants were being smuggled in from Somalia and other African nations.
Testimony and records reveal Homeland Security officials were busing them into strategic locations across the country to deliberately change vulnerable populations. Read that as taxpayer monies funding future voters for Soros funded causes.
Democracy Alliance has steered more than $500 million in funding to progressive organizations and infrastructure since its founding in 2005.
Each member secretly contributes at least $200,000 annually to Soros groups like Media Matters for America, American Civil Liberties Union, and the Center for Popular Democracy, along with dozens of other left-wing organizations.
Soros’s lobbying group, the Open Society Policy Center, hosted a session called “After Kavanaugh,” to strategies for future judicial nomination fights. Pelosi and mainstream media puppets are actively taking orders and preparing propaganda for the upcoming Supreme Court vacancy due to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg’s death.
“The fight over the Kavanaugh nomination saw unprecedented grassroots activity to defeat an unpopular and damaged nominee,” the leaked Soros agenda explains. “But as we now know, it was insufficient. With a 6-3 conservative majority on the Supreme Court, how should we prepare for the next vacancy, and what will be needed to bring a similar sense of urgency to the lower federal courts and the state courts?”
Crime across the United States continues to soar as Joe Biden acts like the COVID-19 virus is smart enough to realize when to turn itself off at the southern border or on in an airplane.
The Biden Border Crisis is flagrantly designed to go against the first duty of a real American president–the national security of the United States.
🔹Border Agents apprehended almost one quarter of a million (221,303) illegal aliens in the month of March, 2022.
🔹This is a 28% increase from the 173,277 illegals apprehended in March 2021. Biden, who is in the White House (when he is not in Delaware) due to massive election and voting fraud, has yet to visit the Border.
🔹Because of President Donald J. Trump’s historical immigration policies, by March 2020 the number of Border apprehensions was 34,460.
Following the Barack Obama-George Soros plan, puppet Biden, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, and the CDC intend to end Title 42 at the border.
Former acting ICE director Tom Homan notes the hypocrisy from Biden and Mayorkas who continuously criticize the Trump administration for “inhumane methods” of border security with little regard for America’s health and safety. Homan revealed that more migrants have died because of Biden’s policies and neglect. He cites the opioid crisis and the record numbers in the amounts of fentanyl coming across the border.
Texas Governor Greg Abbott caused a stir within liberal media and the Biden Administration last week by:
🔹beginning the busing of illegal immigrants caught in Texas to Washington DC,
🔹implementing the inspection of every single commercial vehicle at ports of entry to combat human trafficking and drug cartels.
🔹worked with Arizona, California, and New Mexico to sign agreements with Abbott to coordinate on illegal migration.
These four border states expect massive waves of migrants from around the world because of Biden’s rejection of Title 42 in May, 2022. Border Agents, state troopers and other law enforcement will be hit hard at ports of entry, throughout the Rio Grande, deserts and in rural border areas.
“They’re overwhelmed,” stated John Katko (R-NY), who is the ranking member of the House Homeland Security Committee. “They’re going to lose complete operational control of the border, if and when that surge happens.”
“Everyone, including Homeland Secretary Mayorkas, understands that a surge is coming after Title 42 is gone,” Katko revealed.
The Biden Administration knows there are too few local or state resources–funds and law enforcement-to maintain border security.
There are not enough resources, either in personnel or funds, for law enforcement to handle the Biden border crisis. Border towns and cities are without enough resources to manage the situation.
Cartels, aware of the booming opportunities handed to them by the destructive forces within the US government, are able to greatly increase human and illegal drug trafficking. Biden has purposefully created a humanitarian crisis.
The Biden Border Crisis is flagrantly designed to go against the first duty of a real American president–the national security of the United States.

As far as I can remember, H-E-B Food-Drugs, a San Antonio based company in Texas has consistently been a strong proponent and practitioner for the environment. I retired from this outstanding retailer in 2009 as head of their Facilities Management Division and saw first hand how they are regularly recognized for its commitment to environmental sustainability.
🔹In 2021, H-E-B recycled more than 636 million pounds of cardboard, plastics, office paper, food waste, metal, and truck tires.
🔹Among its endeavor to minimize waste in 2021, H-E-B recycled 54 million pounds of food into animal feed and compost and recycled 17.5 million pounds of plastic.
🔹That same year, H-E-B’s recycling efforts saved the equivalent of 11 million trees, 1.6 million barrels of oil, and enough energy to power more than 83,000 homes for an entire year.
As part of H-E-B’s Our Texas, Our Future mission, and with support from Field & Futureby H-E-B brand products, the retailer is partnering with Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation and their efforts to conserve wildlife, habitats, and natural resources in Texas.
H-E-B is a longtime partner of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation, and the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability along with Field & Future by H-E-B will support efforts such as:
🔹coastal conservation along the Texas Gulf Coast,
🔹Black Bear restoration in West Texas,
🔹the establishment of Palo Pinto Mountains State Park in North Texas, the state’s newest state park expected to open in 2023.
Field & Future by H-E-B, which the company launched last year, is an environmentally minded brand of household, personal care and baby products designed to be clean and green.
The brand is made with recycled or recyclable content, biodegradable formulas or plant-based ingredients, and without over 165 harsh chemicals. Currently, there are nearly 100 Field & Future by H-E-B products on shelf, including dish soap, body wash, bath tissue, baby diapers, as well as trash bags and bags for recyclables, which are made from up to 65 percent and 30 percent post-consumer recycled plastic from H-E-B facilities, respectively.
“H-E-B is an iconic Texas company, and this new partnership with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation, our official non-profit partner, is incredibly exciting,” said Texas Parks and & Wildlife Department Executive Director Carter Smith. “It’s fitting that the Field & Future line of products will benefit conservation projects across Texas, and we’re deeply grateful for this new partnership.”
With Earth Day around the corner, H-E-B Partners (employees) across the state are committed to taking their own steps to beautify Texas. Leading up to and following Earth Day, Partners will volunteer at outdoor events, tree plantings and community cleanups. Many H-E-B stores across the state also will host in-store events to celebrate Earth Day with their customers and communities.
Throughout the year, H-E-B works to champion sustainability initiatives throughout its own operations and across the Lone Star State.
In 2021, H-E-B became part of How2Recycle, a program that places clear, easy-to-read labels on products to let customers know if the packaging can be recycled, which parts are recyclable, and importantly, how to prepare material for recycling to reduce contamination.
The How2Recycle labels are already on more than 1,700 H-E-B branded items, which include H-E-B, Hill Country Fare, H-E-B Select Ingredients, H-E-B Organics, and Central Market.
Furthering its commitment to supporting sustainable efforts within the community, H-E-B gifted $135,000 to support the creation of a community recycling center in Ingleside. Slated to open in the summer, this will be the city’s first ever recycling center, which will service several communities near the Gulf Coast town.
“We know H-E-B and our customers have a shared commitment in protecting the land, water and air of Texas for generations to come,” said Winell Herron, H-E-B Group Vice President of Public Affairs, Diversity and Environmental Affairs. “As H-E-B works to reduce our packaging footprint and increase packaging recyclability, we also look for ways to support community access to recycling. We’re excited to partner with Keep Texas Beautiful and the City of Ingleside to make recycling available for the first time for 65,000 Texans.”
H-E-B customers also can support sustainability efforts through its annual donation campaign that benefits EarthShare of Texas, a nonprofit that supports more than 70 respected conservation groups. From April 13 through May 24, customers can donate $1, $3 or $5 online at heb.com or in store at checkout, which will benefit the nonprofit organization. From the donation campaign, more than $1 million has gone to support the nonprofit.
Governor Greg Abbott is currently meeting with local emergency crews and fire fighters in Medina and Bandera Counties in lieu of significant fires in the region that remain under Red Flag Alert.
Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) Chief Nim Kidd tells us the Lone Star State has been experiencing many grassfires due to lack of rain, low humidity and gusty winds.
At least a dozen counties are currently under disaster declarations, with more expected by Gov. Abbott after his visit to the Medina Lake area today.
Fire officials are warning nearby residents to remain aware of fire development and be prepared to leave quickly if they receive an evacuation order.
As of 3 p.m. (CST), a large brush fire south of Medina Lake more than doubled in size since Saturday. It is now up to 1,062 acres (30% contained) fire officials report.
Medina County officials are monitoring to determine if more evacuations will be necessary Sunday evening and Monday.
“It’s always a good idea in these situations to have a ‘bugout bag’ prepared and in the car or near the exit of each home,” Kidd advised.
“Be sure to preplan your escape routes to leave early as possible as it is far safer than to be slowed down or trapped due to others evacuating at the last minute.”
Mandatory evacuations have been issued for this weekend with shelters provided for residents near the area.
The fire began Friday night and has continued into Sunday. Fire crews will maintain their operations overnight to bring the blaze under control.
People are advised to remain clear of the area. Smoke will likely remain visible from San Antonio and can directly impact the air quality near Medina Lake, Bandera, Pipe Creek, Boerne, Comfort, Medina, Centerpoint, Camp Verde and Kerrville.
Immediate Areas of Fire Management concern:
East of County Road 271
West of the Medina River
South of F.M. 1283
County Roads 2651 and 2652
The town of Mico
Shelters are available at the following locations:
Loma Alta Middle School (266 County Road 381 South)
A trip to San Antonio, the “Alamo City” isn’t just about the destination. The true beauty of this region can be found in the journey through and around it. Rolling hills, natural springs, meandering rivers and, come springtime, the beauty includes vibrantly painted landscapes of wildflowers up and down the highways and backroads.
As you head northwest west toward Boerne, Kerrville and Fredericksburg, you’ll begin to see the landscape open up before you, with rolling tree-covered hills, exposed limestone cliffs and an array of colorful wildflowers.
In this area, known as the Hill Country, you’ll also find Johnson City, home to the Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park. Here you can tour the family ranch and view artifacts such as his boyhood home and first school. This is also the final resting place of LBJ, our 36th president.
Johnson City is also the heart of the Hill Country wine region. Why not take a detour and sample some of the best wineries in Texas on the 290 Wine Trail? Ab Astris Winery and Kuhlman Cellars are a couple of our favorites.
In the quaint town of Fredericksburg, you’ll want to visit two unique museums: the National Museum of the Pacific War, dedicated to those who served in the Pacific Theater of World War II, and the Pioneer Museum, honoring the lives of the early German settlers of this region.
Heading back south toward San Antonio, a worthwhile scenic route offers serene Hill Country views through wildflower-lined back roads.
Look for Luckenbach. It’s a stretch to call it a town, but for country music fans, it’s a mecca. It was made famous in the ’70s by outlaw country musicians like Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings. You can still regularly catch country acts performing on the outdoor stage.
Continue on the backroads south around Canyon Lake on your way toward New Braunfels. Just outside the city, stop at Texas’ oldest continually operating dance hall, Gruene Hall.
Back in San Antonio. The Alamo is the Spanish mission made famous as a battle site in the war for Texas independence. But it is just one of five historic Spanish missions in San Antonio that make up a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The other four comprise the San Antonio Missions National Historical Park. All five offer an incredible look back at the history and culture that still influence this proud city.
Just 10 minutes north of downtown, you will find the revitalized historic Pearl district. This area used to be the home of the Pearl Brewery. Today, you can walk the Pearl to explore trendy shops, delicious dining and even a weekend farmers market. Nearby is Brackenridge Park, Witte Muesum, Children’s DoSeum, Japanese Tea Garden and San Antonio Zoo.
Dating back to 1919 – and receiving major updates throughout the years – the Japanese Tea Garden features a lush year-round garden and a floral display with shaded walkways, stone bridges, a 60-foot waterfall and ponds filled with Koi. The garden’s entrance is punctuated by a moon gate created by a Mexican artist renowned for crafting wood-look concrete sculptures. Free admission.
When mean it when we say the River Walk is a must to experience. One of the nations’—most famous attractions is the vibrant River Walk. Restaurants and shops line the banks of the San Antonio River, which you can explore on foot or take a boat tour on one of the colorful river barges.
Sightseeing, shopping, food, and fun. All on this world-renowned 15-mile urban waterway. The River Walk, or Paseo del Rio, is a San Antonio treasure and the largest urban ecosystem in the nation.
Tucked quietly below street level and only steps away from the Alamo, it provides a serene and pleasant way to navigate the city. Explore by foot along the river’s walking path or jump aboard a river barge for a ride and guided tour. In the heart of downtown, explore nearby attractions like the Alamo, the King William Historic District and more. Or, shop local favorites along the river’s Museum Reach at the historic Pearl.
A good way to see downtown is by catching a ride with City Sightseeing San Antonio’s double-decker buses for tours and curbside drop-off to many of thw downtown attractions and landmarks.
If you missed the rodeo and February, be sure to end the night at Tejas Rodeo Company, where they hold live rodeos every Saturday night from March – November. You can also eat like a Texan at Tejas Steakhouse & Saloon and enjoy fun, and entertainment for all.
If you are staying downtown, don’t miss Mi Tierra Café and Panaderia is the perfect place for a traditional Tex-Mex breakfast, with everything from huevos rancheros to breakfast tacos. Schilo’s has been serving German-Texan fare since 1917 and is the oldest restaurant in San Antonio. You can’t go wrong when you order the Pioneer pancakes or biscuits. In the mood for some schnitzel and homemade root beer? Check Schilo’s out for lunch.
From this are you can take a walk through La Villita Historic Arts Village, San Antonio’s first neighborhood. Today La Villita is a cultural hub, home to local artisans, shops and restaurants. Walk down the river to the Briscoe Western Art Museum for stories of the cowboy, the vaquero, Native Americans and the western landscape.
San Antonio also features theme park giants- Six Flags Fiesta Texas and SeaWorld & Aquatica San Antonio.
