Legendary Frontier Times Museum in  Cowboy Capital of the World Announces  New Director

Today, when you visit Bandera, Texas, there is no way to escape the feel of the Old West. With around 900 people, multiple rodeos, and two different outfits staging gunfights on Saturday, thereโ€™s no doubt this is the Cowboy Capital of the World.

Special Announcement From New Leadership

Hello, everyone!

My name is Kimberly Miles, and I am delighted to introduce myself as the new Executive Director of the Frontier Times Museum. I bring a strong administrative background to the role and after working here for the past 11 years, I am excited to take the lead on continuing our quality educational programs and being a trusted research center for Bandera County and our visitors.

Our wonderful team includes;
Maggie Flynn, our Education Coordinator. Maggie is bright, energetic, and passionate about bringing history to life through engaging educational programs. Maggie started with us in March and Fridays at the Museum is her newest idea to bring a challenging, fun and interesting free program to Bandera students.

Sandy Miles-Wolfe is our jack-of-all-trades. Sandy coordinates events, solicits support, and helps keep the museum running smoothly. She has been at the museum for the past 5 years and is working closely with me to ensure a smooth transition.

Our newest team member is Jonathon Laws, who has volunteered at the museum for many years. We are thrilled to welcome Jonathon to the team in this new role as he starts his college education while working with us at the front desk and on special events.

I invite you to stop by the museum to meet our fantastic team. Together, we are dedicated to our mission of preserving and sharing the heritage of Bandera County and the Texas frontier.

We look forward to connecting with you soon!

Warm regards,

Kimberly Miles
