Ingredients (serves 4)
Baked Pears
4 ripe but firm pears, halved and cored
2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
2–3 tbsp honey (to taste)
½ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground nutmeg (optional)

Toppings
½ cup fresh berries (blueberries, strawberries, or raspberries)
â…“ cup walnuts, chopped and lightly toasted
â…“ cup feta cheese, crumbled
Fresh thyme or mint (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Prep the Pears
Preheat oven to 190°C / 375°F.
Arrange pear halves cut-side up in a baking dish.
Brush with olive oil or butter.
Bake
Drizzle pears with honey.
Sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
Bake 25–30 minutes, until pears are tender and lightly caramelized.
Add Toppings
Remove pears from oven.
Spoon fresh berries into the center of each pear.
Sprinkle with toasted walnuts and crumbled feta.
Finish Baking
Return to oven for 5–8 minutes, just until feta softens slightly.
Serve
Garnish with fresh thyme or mint.
Optional extra drizzle of honey before serving.
Serving Ideas
Serve warm as a light dessert or elegant brunch dish.
Pair with Greek yogurt for breakfast or a scoop of vanilla ice cream for dessert.
