Vice President JD Vance had a fun time with the “Sombrero Gate” memes popping up across the social cyber world.

“I think it’s funny. The president’s joking. And we’re having a good time,” Vance remarked. “You can negotiate in good faith while also poking a little bit of fun at some of the absurdities of the Democrats’ positions, and even poking some fun at the absurdity of the Democrats themselves.” 

It was the Democrats who forced the federal government into a shutdown Oct. 1. They refused to sign on to a measure that would keep the government funded for the next few weeks.

While both sides were working out policy disagreements, Democrat leadership wanted to grandstand. They focused on extending Obamacare subsidies. They also sought to revive Medicaid perks that the One Big Beautiful Bill did away with earlier this year. Democrats party perks included expensive benefits illegal immigrants and other noncitizens at Americans expense.

The Donald Trump White House, Congressional and Senate Republicans and others across the United States joined in on the fun to send another message to the far left.
