Does Blame for Murder of InfoWar Reporter Fall on Soros- Owned Austin District Attorney?

A reporter for Alex Jones’ InfoWars was brutally murdered outside his south Austin apartment late on Sunday night.

“On Sunday, March 9, 2025, at approximately 11:56 p.m., the Austin Police Department (APD) responded to the call of a shooting at the Chandelier Apartments located at 2336 Douglas Street,” a press release from APD states. “When officers arrived on the scene, they located one victim, later identified as Jamie White, lying on the ground in the parking lot with apparent trauma to his body. White was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased at 12:19 a.m. on March 10, 2025.”

“We are deeply saddened to inform you that InfoWars Reporter Jamie White was brutally murdered around midnight Sunday night due, in part, to the policies of the Soros Austin, TX D.A. Jose Garza,” InfoWars announced Monday.

“We pledge that Jamie’s tragic death will not be in vain, and those responsible for this senseless violence will be brought to justice,” the statement continued. “Jamie’s important work will be carried on through InfoWars, our readers, and our cherished listeners.”

“I lay all of this squarely at the feet of Soros and of the sort of crime syndicate of the Democratic Party. They are the ones that administratively cut the police, prosecuted the police, and even cases that are hundred percent clear to be lawful, legal activities,” Jones said.

While fake news mainstream media continues to cover for liberal causes and describing Jones as a “conspiracy theorist,” and “far-right extremist,” the facts are, over time, he has been more accurate than critics from Big Media are.

Austin has struggled recently with rising violent crime that has worsened under Garza’s tenure as DA since 2021 after he won the position with the backing of George Soros funded national progressive groups advocating for far-left “criminal justice reform.”

● In 2020, Garza indicted 19 Austin Police officers for subduing violent riots in the far-left liberal city.

This in spite of the fact these officers had been cleared of wrongdoing following the riots.

● “His mode of operation is to follow the leads of other paid for DA’s to turn Austin into the stenches San Francisco, Portland and Milwaukee are,” one Austin police officer told CleverJourneys in 2021. “We have good, decent people here, but they want out of the city because it’s becoming less safe by the day.”

“I can’t believe what Austin has turned into because of the mayor, city council and liberal leadership,” she said. “Basically, they are forcing good police officers out. Look what Governor Abbott had to do to force some semblance of order last year.” (Referring to Abbott mandating a zone around the Texas Capitol to be policed by state law enforcement).

● In May 2023, even Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton called Garza out:

“Jose Garza is a rogue District Attorney who is endangering the safety of law enforcement officers by signaling that violence against them will not be punished as long as an assailant shares Garza’s extremist political views.”

“His contempt for the law risks encouraging more violent acts, especially against law enforcement officers and legislators.”

“Garza’s indifference to political violence is a threat to public safety and an attempt to intimidate those who disagree with his extremist agenda.”

● Terry Keel, a former Travis County sheriff and assistant DA, has nothing good to say about Garza.

“Austin has descended into a dysfunctional prosecution-local police relationship with resultant widespread crime similar to other U. S. cities with Soros-financed, anti-police prosecutors,” Keel said. “The last line of defense against the unfair targeting of police for criminal prosecution is the jury trial, which really makes that the last stand against tyranny.”

● An executive director of the Combined Law Enforcement Associations of Texas (CLEAT), Charley Wilkison, described Garza as the “George Soros funded District Attorney is as dangerous as they come.”

Garza brought numerous charges against so many police officers a judge ordered the DA to “record his presentation to the grand jury in the case against an Austin Police Officer and CLEAT member.”

● In 2021, one district attorney resigned after being ordered to delete emails related to a sexual assault case.

● In a separate issue, an Austin police detective was told to leave evidence out of a presentation to a grand jury.

The evidence regarded the case of Garrett Foster, shot fatally by Army Sgt. Daniel Perry while participating in a protest in Austin in July 2020.

“The District Attorney’s office cannot discuss the contents of the grand jury presentation due to grand jury secrecy laws, however, the office disputes the notion that material exculpatory evidence was excluded from the presentation,” the DA’s office claimed.

Soros’ donation came a year after his non-profit funneled $652,000 to the Texas Justice and Public Safety PAC group that backed the election of Garza for Travis County DA.

“You murdered Jamie White, you opened the door, you created the climate, you created conditions on purpose. George Soros. Alexander Soros, you murdered Jamie White,” Jones responded.

‘”These are sick, degenerate, evil people that know what they’re doing and they aided and abetted. They are accomplices to the murder of a great American and Infowars long time veteran reporter Jamie White,” he continued.

Jones also cited unnamed Austin police officers and detectives as sources, where so many in law enforcement are frustrated and demoralized by what they see as Garza’s refusal to prosecute dangerous offenders.

Soros’ Open Society Policy Center also donated $500,000 to Equity PAC, a Texas-based group that funds progressive causes and was working to oppose a ballot proposition that would have seen Austin hire hundreds of new police officers amid a spike in violent crime.

But the proposition was overwhelmingly defeated in 2020 thanks to Soros’ cash injection which funded ad campaigns throughout Austin. Garza then won his re-election in 2024 keeping him in the role for a further four years.

“When you see Soros seizing control of over 800 jurisdictions protecting serious narcotics gangs and human trafficking gangs and when you see different feds and ICE calling and warning some of those violent gangs in the world that there’s ICE raids coming,” Jones revealed.

“There are so many communist traitors in the government that they’re having to polygraph now to find out who’s doing it. This is a crisis and again, defunding the police. All of this is meant to destabilize the collapse society,’ Jones warned.

“There are a lot of really cool people that have worked at Infowars over the years, and one of the most amazing people was Jamie White. You know him as a great reporter and researcher,” Jones said in Monday’s video message.

“He was up here last night working late during the Sunday show and after it Jaime was murdered last night outside of his home just a few miles away from our studios.”

“He’s always here early, loves to work, loves to fight tyranny, love, promote freedom. And when they got to the apartment complex, there was yellow tape everywhere and blood all over the parking lot. And we went and talked to the manager. They didn’t know anything,’ Jones explained.

“This was a great American. A man of conviction. And they killed him,” Jones said, visibly shaken. “But we will never stop fighting for justice. For Jamie. For everyone who’s been a victim of this engineered crime wave.”

In his bio for his account @whiteisthefury on X, White quoted President Thomas Jefferson saying: “I’ve sworn upon the altar of God eternal hostility against every form of tyranny over the mind of man.”
