Since Hamas terrorists attacked Israel on Oct. 7, 2023 killing 1,200 Israelis and taking 240 hostage, over 100 hostages have been released, mainly women and children.

Some were kidnapped from the Nova open-air music festival, where 364 people were shot, bludgeoned or burned to death.

There is believed to be 134 hostages still held captive in Gaza, which has been under Israeli land, sea and air bombardment since Oct. 7.
Here are the names of over one dozen of the girls kidnapped, tortured and sexually molested by their captors. This has prompted another #BringBackOurGirls movement.

The first such #BringBackOurGirls campaign began on April 14-15, 2014, when in a remote Nigerian town called Chibok, 276 schoolgirls were kidnapped from their dormitory the night before their final exams.

Islamic terrorists, known as Boko Haram invaded the quarters of high school seniors, a few hours of test questions away from graduating as some of the only educated young women in an impoverished region, where most girls never learned to read.
Amnesty International estimated in 2015 that at least 2,000 more women and girls had been abducted by the group since the 2014 kidnappings. Many of these girls are known to have been forced into sexual slavery.

Just four days before the March 8, 2024 International Women’s Day, a report by a U.N. team of experts indicated they found “clear and convincing information” that some hostages from the October 2023 attack on Israel were subjected to sexual violence and that such violence may be ongoing.

These events still leave me practically speechless and dumbfounded as to how anyone could possibly be pro-Hamas or even pro-‘Palestinian.’

Yes, to be for such brutality, encouraging it; hearts have to be so twisted, to be able to do it? The hatred has to go so deep. These girls’ eyes, desperate indeed with fear, fatigue, they’ll never leave me now.

#1. It is reprehensible, heinous, and wrong, the terrorist attack on the “Nova open-air music festival, where 364 people were shot”.
#2. Israel has a long and aggressive record, justifiably aggressive in most cases, of fighting terrorism and terrorists. It’s more than suspicious that this well publicized event didn’t have commensurate protection for the magnitude of the event. As with the U.S., and other countries, not singling out Israel, it’s not unheard of that these tragic events were allowed to happen, or overstated (in the case of events in other nations), to permit the associated country to become militarily involved in a situation.
#3. Israel, unknown to most, has a horrid record of bringing women to Israel, not surprisingly notably from Ukraine, with the offers of employment, only to be criminally deprived of their passports by criminals in Israel, and forced into sex slavery or downright sold as sex slaves. The point is Israel is aware of the widespread nature of these offenses yet treat them as not much worse than a trivial misdemeanor offense. I was shocked and vocal about this horrible situation until I realized that the United States is as bad, if not worse, at looking askance of child and adult women sex trafficking.
#4. Russia doesn’t mess around.

To me, a very aggressive response should occur in response to a terrorist event, but not a protracted punishment. The Russians seem to use that form of discouragement and punishment. What’s occurring in Israel will allow the terrorists to gain support. Yes, the hostages need rescued, and the hostage takers and killers should pay the price, but it should be devastating but brief.
