Biden Economy Provides Immigrants Rent, Food, Laundry While Vets Remain Homeless

The United States leisure and hospitality industry has a dire need to fill 1.23 million jobs, with the majority of unfilled job openings in accommodations and food services.

The Biden regime’s plan is to fill these positions with non-Americans by importing aliens from other countries.

In June 2023, the American Hotels & Lodging Association found that over 80 percent of hotels were struggling to hire staff.

Ohio

Restaurants are not fairing much better. In Ohio, 1 in 10 working residents work in hospitality, but that’s not enough.

Cleveland has resorted to launching a new social engineering and “woke” grant program to support 20 small restaurants that choose to increase wages.

The catch for these businesses is that they must participate in wage models and race and gender training courses.

Each restaurant will receive $5,000 when they commit to increasing the wages of their staff to $15 an hour plus tips.

Leisure & Hospitality

Throughout the US, the average wage for workers across the leisure and hospitality sector is over $21 an hour.

Hotels have struggled enough to the point they are offering greater development opportunities, including more paid time off and other enhanced benefits to compete against other job types that may already have these advantages.

“To help boost the leisure and hospitality sector, travel businesses have been increasing wages, improving benefits and modernizing career development tracks,” said a U.S. Travel Association spokesperson. “The average wage across the entire leisure & hospitality is now over $21 an hour—well above minimum wage.”

Biden’s Border Crisis

So far, the Biden Administration’s open border policies have allowed short-term workers from other countries to live in the U.S. and work for a specified amount of time, usually half a year.

Currently, 64,176 workers are able to come to the U.S. and work through the visa program for the 2023 fiscal year, but this is not even close to filling the need that is currently there in the hospitality sector alone.

Lately, both Biden’s Department of Homeland Security and Department of Labor have apportioned 20,000 visas for workers from Guatemala, El Salvador, Haiti and Honduras.

Biden’s Crime Surge

The current White House and Big Media, when reporting the real cost burdens to taxpayers, conveniently leave out the millions of crimes committed by illegal immigrants related to procuring fraudulent social security numbers, obtaining false drivers’ licenses, using fraudulent green cards, and improperly accessing public benefits.

Arizona

In Arizona, their own Department of Corrections data going back to 1985, reveals that illegal immigrants there, aged 18-35, are 250 percent more likely to commit crimes than young U.S. citizens.

Further, such illegal immigrants commit more serious crimes — such as murder, robbery, and sexual assault.

New York

Last week in New York City, almost 3,000 new “asylum seekers” entered one of their 200 new emergency shelters.

Mayor Eric Adams reported that his city spends $383 per day per family on food, shelter, and other expenses. He estimates they will incur a $12 billion deficit as a result.

The leisure and hospitality industry has the most unauthorized immigrant workers in 22 states and the District of Columbia. These states tend to be in the West, Northeast and Florida.

Texas & Arizona

Texas and Arizona have over 60,000 homeless residents, including 3,800 veterans, while illegal alien lodgers receive comfortable accommodations, enjoy “unfettered” access to lawyers, and are effectively shielded from the general public. Security guards are assigned not to keep migrants in, but to keep others out.

California

California ranks first in the number of metro areas with the largest populations of people living in this country illegally: Los Angeles, Riverside-San Bernardino, San Francisco, San Diego and San Jose. Texas has three: Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth and Austin.

Travel Lobby Sides With Aliens

“U.S. Travel will continue advocating for increased access to the H-2B program through the appropriations and legislative process,” said a U.S. Travel Association spokesperson. “Congress should ensure final FY24 appropriations for the Department of Homeland Security includes a cap exemption for returning H-2B workers, which would significantly expand the number of available H-2B visas.”

  1. And, the Republicans sit in the country club bar drinking expensive scotch while our vets, seniors and homeless suffer. They will do anything to keep that crown. Pretty soon were talking about “real money.” As you can probably tell, I have no use for either party, one is as worthless as the other.

      • Ross had a good idea, but was doomed from the start, then the crazy scenario about his family being targeted. Maybe they were. Ross, divided the conservative vote and allowed Clinton to sneak in the back door, of which he regularly used for his sneaky shenanigans.

    • Ranting about the Republicans doesn’t solve anything. Biden is where the responsibility lies and his 7,000 per day at the southern border alone – he takes care of while Americans suffer.

      • Yes, I know, I live in Texas and see the damage done to our state every day. Yes, ranting does nothing, but it makes my point. There is nothing the average citizen can do at this time, except vote to replace Biden, go to the border with a militia, impeach Abbott, or take matters into our own hands, and how do you thing that will play out? The Republicans are all talk and no meat, as we have seen. So, ranting is about all we have left in our arsenal ( weapons not included).
