Texas and Arizona have transported almost 10,000 illegal aliens from the US-Mexico border to Washington, D.C. on at least 104 buses so far.
D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser, who along with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) refused President Trump’s request and offers to provide troops in Washington for the January 6, 2021 peaceful protest, is now begging for the D.C. National Guard to be activated indefinitely to assist with the issue she calls a “growing humanitarian crisis.”
Texas Governor Greg Abbott says the buses are being sent to the nation’s capital to call attention to the immigration crisis at the southern border.
Abbott has invited Bowser and New York City Mayor Eric Adams to visit the border:
“As Governor, I invite you to visit our border region to see firsthand the dire situation that only grows more urgent with each passing day, and to meet with the local officials, who like yourselves, realize this matter deserves immediate federal action.”

Abbott, the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), and the Texas National Guard are continuing to work together to secure the border, stop the smuggling of drugs, weapons, and people into Texas, and prevent, detect, and interdict transnational criminal behavior between ports of entry.
🔹Since the launch of Operation Lone Star, the multi-agency effort has led to more than 294,000 migrant apprehensions and more than 19,000 criminal arrests, with more than 16,000 felony charges reported.
🔹In the fight against fentanyl, Texas DPS has seized over 326 million lethal doses throughout the state.
🔹Texas has also transported over 6,700 migrants to the nation’s capital–and now New York City–since beginning the busing mission in April to provide much-needed relief to their overwhelmed border communities.
“Operation Lone Star continues to fill the dangerous gaps left by the Biden Administration’s refusal to secure the border,” a release from Abbott’s office stated. “Every individual who is apprehended or arrested and every ounce of drugs seized would have otherwise made their way into communities across Texas and the nation due to President Biden’s open border policies.”
“In addition to Washington, D.C., New York City is the ideal destination for these migrants, who can receive the abundance of city services and housing that Mayor Eric Adams has boasted about within the sanctuary city,” said Governor Abbott. “I hope he follows through on his promise of welcoming all migrants with open arms so that our overrun and overwhelmed border towns can find relief.”
“These people are wanting to go somewhere else. They’re not wanting to stay in Arizona,” said Morgan Carr, spokeswoman for Gov. Doug Ducey (R-AZ). “From what we’re seeing, they’re all primarily [headed to] the East Coast.”
Twenty-five percent of the illegal aliens who crossed the border into Arizona before hopping on a bus to Washington, D.C. said their final destination is New York. Other popular destinations include New Jersey and Florida.
Nearly 70 percent of the illegal immigrants who started their journey in Arizona were originally from Colombia. Another 15 percent were from Peru and eight illegal immigrants were from Russia.
“If Biden will not come to the border, we’re sending the border to Biden and his administration so that they can begin to grapple with the challenges that we’re dealing with,” Abbott said, adding, “But also, we will be looking for other locations like Delaware, Biden’s home state…The people in Delaware are going to see what the people in Texas are having to grapple with.”
“As soon as they have to deal with the real consequences of the crisis, they are up in arms calling for the National Guard when they are only dealing with a faction of what we have to deal with every single day. We’re going to keep sending those buses up there until they fully understand, and most importantly, until the Biden Administration does its job to enforce the laws concerning the border.”

DPS Lt. Chris Olivarez said that the communities along the border are completely overwhelmed with the relentless surge of illegal immigrants. He explained how Governor Abbott listened to the concerns of local officials with the migrant busing mission.
“I think it’s a great idea what Governor Abbott has done with inviting these mayors to Texas to see firsthand what we’re dealing with every day,” said Lt. Olivarez. “Some of these border communities have a population of 15,000 or 20,000 and they’re seeing 2,000 to 3,000 immigrants who are crossing every single day.”

Woo Hoo! Kudos to Gov. Abbott for implementing Operation Lone Star and bussing all the illegals to D.C. and N.Y. It’s high time the Biden Administration liberals are exposed to the realities of the Border Crisis. It’s hard for them to hide in their Ivory Towers when thousands of illegals are knocking at their front doors. I’m especially amused to see them panic and lose their minds, calling for the National Guard to protect them from invasion.
You wanted open borders? Well, here you go – the first of many Special Deliveries still to come! Nothing is considered a crisis til it happens to them. 🇺🇸

I applaud our Gov’s balls. The Dems all say it’s a stunt. If it is, well it’s a good one and is working. Why stop with New York, go on to Delaware, right next to Joe’s weekly hideout, and then to Napa in front of Pelosi’s mansion? It may be costing the Texas taxpayer a lot, but you can bet most of us are cheering Abbott on. If Gov Abbott went on the road, who would play his partner Costello? My wife gave me a three-year subscription to Texas Monthly for Christmas. Decades ago, the magazine was one of the best on the market with good writing and reports. Now, it’s a liberal rag that touts Austin as the center of the Texas universe. We need the following writers back; Gary Cartwright, Dan Jenkins, Steven Harrigan, and of course our patron saint of Texas authors, Larry McMurtry. I sense you’re getting a bit more radical these days. Right?

I’ve actually written for TX Monthly back in those days a few times. You may remember Kinky Friedman who had the last page reserved for him each issue. He’s a neighbor (well, about 6 miles, but we are rural) of ours.
I can’t bare to read it anymore. About all they are good for (if you don’t have an outhouse) is restaurant reviews and event schedules around the state. Looking back, I never would have dreamed they would have gone this stupid….but then again, back in the mid to late ’70s I though Austin was cool.

I’ve left a lot of money in Austin over the years, especially the mid 70s during the cosmic-hippie-confused cowboy days, and when my son went to Texas State. I haven’t been to Austin in many years, and don’t plan to go back. Once in a while, the mag has a good article or a continuing story. One was part of the new book, ” Last Dance On The Starlight Pier.” It takes place in Galveston during the 1930s and includes the Italian family that ran all the gambling and corruption on the island. The author wrote a good book until the end when she started lectering about being a democrat liberal and the rest of us are ignorant. Then I read that she is from, and lives in Austin, so that explains it. My wife wrote the publisher and the author a letter, No response as of yet.

I have no plans to ever visit Austin again in m short lifetime. Too many old hippies with masters degrees working at Whole Foods Market and coffee shops. What a waste in culture.

Soros funds the buses in Mexico and else where, brings illegals close to our border, lets them out to look like they walked all the way.
Soros hates the USA, VOWS to rip us apart.
