Mark Cuban to Open Drug Manufacturing Facility in Dallas

The National Basketball Association announced all teams will be playing the National Anthem, as per their policy, before each game despite Mark Cuban’s demand to not play it at his Dallas Mavericks games.

This news overshadowed his new generic drug business, the Mark Cuban Cost Plus Drug Co., being built at an $11 million drug manufacturing facility in Dallas, according to the Dallas Business Journal

Construction is to begin on the 22,000-square-foot facility this month and be completed by next year, the Dallas Business Journal reported Feb. 5. The company filed for a license to build the facility Feb. 4.

The billionaire investor and “Shark Tank” TV show star announced the company in January, saying it is dedicated to producing low-cost versions of high-cost generic drugs and pledged to “provide radical transparency in how we price our drugs.”

“We will let everyone know what it costs to manufacture, distribute, and market our drugs to pharmacies,” the company’s website said. “We add a flat 15 percent margin to get our wholesale prices. This makes sure we remain viable and profitable.”

  1. Hey Jack, You can keep this comment on here or delete it…I think this needs examined and watched by all of us citizens in the United States. Have you heard of a man Russell-Jay: Gould? He is some-what of a genius. He made a film ‘Last-Flag-Standing’. It’s pretty mind blowing. Like I said, delete after you read this or leave it up. Thank you.

  2. Cuban has said some of his players are claiming our National Anthem is not ‘relevant’ to them. What they mean by that is anyone’s guess – unless they’re from another country. Regardless, they play B-ball in AMERICA (and make boatloads of money while doing so) – the least they can do is show a little appreciation to our country when our Anthem is played. Good grief – they’re not being asked to sing it themselves over the loudspeaker before games! Spoiled, overpaid brats!!
