NFL National Boycott For Their Hypocritical Anti-American Stance

National Football League is as hypocritical as socialist liberals are when it comes to respect of our nation’s flag, national anthem and the sport. They are literally losing thousands of fans.

The key phrases they’re prompted to tell us is that we need to “get over it” or “You need to realize that it isn’t about the flag.”

Looking at the NFL’s position on “taking a knee” from another perspective, there is a distinctive difference in the way they treat issues.

  • In 2012 the NFL had an issue with Tim Tebow kneeling for each game to pray. They also had an issue with Tebow wearing John 3:16 as part of his eye-black to avoid glare, and made him take it off.

  • In 2013 the NFL fined Brandon Marshall for wearing green cleats to raise awareness for people with mental health disorders.

  • In 2014 Robert Griffin III (RG3) entered a post-game press conference wearing a shirt that said “Know Jesus Know Peace” but was forced to turn it inside out by an NFL uniform inspector before speaking at the podium.

  • In 2015 DeAngelo Williams was fined for wearing “Find the Cure” eye black for breast cancer awareness.

  • In 2015 William Gay was fined for wearing purple cleats to raise awareness for domestic violence. (Not that the NFL has a domestic violence problem…).
  • In 2016 the NFL prevented the Dallas Cowboys from wearing a decal on their helmet in honor of 5 Dallas Police officers killed in the line of duty.
Officers down.

  • 2016 the NFL threatened to fine players who wanted to wear cleats to commemorate the 15th anniversary of 9/11.
What is the NFL teaching our children?

  • It’s hypocritical to defend and claim how the NFL supports free speech and expression.

  • It’s clear the NFL has taken a position against any action by NFL players demonstrating RESPECT for any issue: For God, social causes such as mental health, cancer, domestic violence, for cops killed arbitrarily for being cops, for the Memory of 9/11.

  • But the NFL will honor rapists, drug dealers who were hurt or killed for fighting police officers. They will allow players to put their names on their helmet. They will display the name of the Marxist organization that is literally burning businesses and cities in the end zones. They will play the “Black National Anthem” before football games.

  • They will allow demonstrations of DISRESPECT for our National Flag, our National Anthem, for America , and for the American People, if it will help mollify a particular Group and its supporters. That is who and what the NFL now has shown itself to be.

  1. Yep take a knee im done. Who dat!! No more support from this saints fan. Act right your paid to be professional NOT political. You get paid to play the game of football NOT disrespect the flag and the lives lost that gave you the freedom to make millions of dollars from playing a game that high school kids can play. Your no better than me. Your no more valuable than me. I don’t need you to survive but you needs fans to pay your bills. This fan is done supporting you and your family.

  2. Wow! Thanks for the recent history lesson. Sports have no place in my life, but I pay attention enough to this kind of crap lately. NHL was the last standing sport, but they caved to virtue-signaling, too.

ALL Professional Sports need to be boycotted at this point. Probably college sports, as well. (It doesn’t affect me, but I think this is a sad reality).

  3. You would think as season ticket holders or just a fan of the game that we should be able to take some sort of legal action against the NFL for these practices, which I agree are very shameful.

  4. I am not boycotting, I am just choosing not to watch anymore. All of this, along with what they did to my team, the Redskins, I just can’t do it anymore. It will be interesting to see what the ratings are like. They were down on Thursday night.

  5. I won’t be watching anymore. Gone of the days of pleasure, sitting in one’s living room watching Sonny and Kilmer and listening to the play by play on the radio. Those were the days. Now it’s Socialism, not a sport. Back then NO ONE complained about the name of the Redskins. Now The owner and managers have given in to the powers that be and are now known as The Washington Team. Well, Isn’t that special. About as inviting as a one eyed serpent. Nope, you can go on and play by the rules of Socialism but I won’t be watching.

  6. I so agree with you!
Sports arenas should not be a stage for political issues. Most of our pro athletes went to school merely to be recognized as fit for their sport – not an education, so how can they actively comment on ANY issue outside of their particular sport?
I’ll stop here, before I really get into it.

  7. This is what Marcus Hayes, The Philadelphia Inquirer Sportswriter said of white males and ME, when he publicly shamed the Head Coach of the Philadelphia Flyers regarding his white male privilege (Not joining the protesting and BLM presence in the NHL. I voiced my dislike and disagreement to him of his article. Without knowing anything about me, he categorized me and proved his racist ideology.)
    Marcus Hayes wrote to me:
“I sincerely hope I offended all of the white males ignorant of white male privilege.
    Like you.”
Neither Marcus Hayes nor The Philadelphia Inquirer apologized for this offense to me. So, the heck with the NFL, the racist Marcus Hayes, and leftist Philadelphia Inquirer.
