Martha’s Vineyard Posts Are Alive With The Sounds of Hypocrisy

The levels of hypocrisy coming out of the mouths of corporate news media and Democrats continue to be enforced by their reaction to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ decision to fly illegal aliens to Martha’s Vineyard.

The propaganda and reactions from the left were so sanctimonious that some of the self-righteous socialists found themselves yanking their idiotic posts off of social media. Others changed their tampered reporting, but still continued deceptive narratives.

Here is one from NBC News they jerked off the internet within minutes:

Their duplicitous reactions were countered throughout the land—and online. The hills were alive with the sounds of hypocrisy.

FBI’s Disgrace: What the World Now Knows

Millions Sound off Against Biden Administration Raid

Carrying backpacks during their raid into the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump’s private home, a shameful and disgraced army of FBI agents sparked an American outrage against the rogue government.

Trump Attorney Alina Jabba indicated she is deeply concerned the raiders, who forced everyone out of the home, planted somethings against Trump.

The backlash and outrage against the Democratic Party was immediate and explosive.

41% of Proposed Florida School Math Books Rejected Due to Critical Race Theory and More

The Florida Department of Education the rejection of 41% of the proposed K-12 mathematics books intended for use during the 2022-2023 public school year.

“I’m grateful that Commissioner Corcoran and his team at the Department have conducted such a thorough vetting of these textbooks to ensure they comply with the law,” Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis stated.

🔹The books did not meet state academic standards due to their inclusion of Critical Race Theory principles and other controversial approaches to education.

🔹The statement from Florida’s Department of Education reads: “Reasons for rejecting textbooks included references to Critical Race Theory (CRT), inclusions of Common Core, and the unsolicited addition of Social Emotional Learning (SEL) in mathematics.”

“The highest number of books rejected were for grade levels K-5, where an alarming 71 percent were not appropriately aligned with Florida standards or included prohibited topics and unsolicited strategies,” Florida’s D.O.E. added.

“It seems that some publishers attempted to slap a coat of paint on an old house built on the foundation of Common Core, and indoctrinating concepts like race essentialism, especially, bizarrely, for elementary school students,” Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) said in a statement.

🔹54 books out of 132 proposed books were rejected for K-12 classes.

🔹Publishers have an option to appeal the state’s decision.

Quotes From Ron DeSantis’ 2022 CPAC Speech

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis told the enthusiastic Orlando crowd on the opening day of the 2022  Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) America must put on a “full armor of God” as he focused on making 2022 “the year that America fought back” against the “woke” Left.

Here are highlighted parts of his 20 minute speech at the largest and oldest gathering of American conservatives.

“Florida led when it counted. We led early on when the weight of the world was bearing down on our shoulders. We understand what it means to be a leader. Not just be a politician that twists in the wind but be willing to make tough decisions.”

Faucian Dystopia

“Florida has defeated Faucism. Freedom has prevailed in the Sunshine State.”

People are coming to live or visit Florida “not just because we have lower taxes, because we’ve always had lower taxes. These are people who are fleeing leftist governments in this country.”

“And why do even these biggest critics and lockdowners come to Florida? Well, I think it’s simple. From the very beginning, we refused to let this state descend into some kind of Faucian dystopia where people’s freedoms are curtailed and their livelihoods are destroyed.”

“They criticized Florida, and the first chance they get, what do they do? They escape to freedom in the state of Florida.”

These are “politicians who lock down their own people.”

Let’s Go Brandon

“There is no substitute for the courage to stand in the way of the Brandon administration. The inflation is because of his policies, and we’re not going to let him forget that.”

“Yes we’re against CRT but what are we for? I’m for the Constitution, I’m for the Bill of Rights, we need to have our young people understand what that means.”

If the Woke Left “had just elected a couple more U.S. Senators…They were going to pack the U.S. Supreme Court. They were going to make D.C. a state so they would have two radical, left-wing Democrat senators for life.”

“They were going to abolish the electoral college so California could … elect the president, and they wanted to federalize fraudulent ballot practices.”

DeSantis argued that Democrats’ congressional ambitions attempt to “marginalize the conservative half of the country” so they would become “powerless” to fight back against their “ideological aims.”

The Left’s Woke Religion

“The woke is the new religion of the Left, and this is what they have in mind. That’s why they want CRT [critical race theory] because they want to divide the country. That’s why they remove statues of Thomas Jefferson, and Abraham Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt, take George Washington’s name off schools. Because they want to erase that history.”

“They want to delegitimize our founding institutions and they want to replace that with their left-wing ideology as the foundational principles of our modern-day society.”

“No, in Florida you’re not getting a slap on the wrist you’re getting the inside of a jail cell. We are a law and order state in the state of Florida. We reject weak-on-crime policies. We reject Soros prosecutors.”

“We’re not going to let our young girls, women athletes have opportunities denied to them because of ideology and political correctness.”

“We are in the process of getting money from the legislature so that if Biden is dumping illegal aliens in Florida from the southern border, I’m rerouting them to Delaware. We’ll do some in DC and Hollywood as well.”

Protect Freedoms

“The job of the statesman is not to subcontract out your policy to help bureaucrats. … The job of the statesman is to lead, to take all the interest in society, and make sure you’re doing what’s in the public good. So many governors over the last two years would simply defer to help bureaucrats because it was a safe thing to do politically.”

“My job is to stand up and protect the freedoms and the jobs of the people I represent and if that puts me in political jeopardy then so be it,”

“Had Florida not led the way, this country could look like Canada or Australia. We sometimes take freedom for granted, you should not do that after the last two years.”

Popular Gavin vs. DeSantis meme

Biden is “…always criticizing us, always trying to take pot shots at Florida…He doesn’t like Florida, and he doesn’t like me because we stand up to him.”

“Woke is the new religion of the left… a form of Marxism…Legacy media is not in the business of telling the truth… Big Tech is now the No. 1 institution of censorship.”

Woke Biden His Time

“We stand up against the weak-on-crime policies that are ravaging cities across the country…this is not going to be like Portland. … In Florida, you are not getting a slap on the wrist, you are getting the inside of a jail cell.”

“Because we will not spend taxpayer money to teach our kids to hate America or to hate each other, we have banned CRT in K through 12 education.”

“But I can tell you there’s one fella that just hates Florida. His name is Joe Biden…He’s always criticizing us. Always trying to take potshots at Florida. He does things like take our medication. He stiffs storm victims of relief because he doesn’t like the governor. He doesn’t like Florida. And he doesn’t like me because we stand up to him…He’s had the worst first year of any president since the 1800s.”

“We protected people’s rights, we protected people’s jobs, and made sure every kid in the state of Florida had an opportunity to go to school in person five days a week. Freedom has prevailed in the Sunshine State.”

“The left does not want to honor our freedoms. We have the responsibility to fight back on all fronts.”

Is This America’s Sure Legal Way To Stop The Washington DC Madness?

What do Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, Commentators Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Charlie Kirk and Ben Shapiro, Lt. Col. Allen West, Dr. James Dobson, Florida Senator Mark Rubio, Texas Congressman Chip Roy, Ben Carson, Texas Rep. Louie Gohmert Governor and Governor Mike Huckabee have in common?

They all support a Convention of the States to fix an out of touch and overspending Washington DC.

America needs 34 states for a Convention of States Resolution, to call for a limiting of federal power, spending, and terms of office.

Currently, 16 states have now joined the call: Georgia, Alaska, Florida, Alabama, Tennessee, Indiana, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Arizona, North Dakota, Texas, Missouri, Arkansas, Utah, Mississippi, and Wisconsin.

“Thank goodness our Constitution has given the states and the people a framework to step in and save the Republic when Congress will not. Today we sent a message that Wisconsin stands ready to rein in federal overreach,” said Wisconsin State Senator Kathy Bernier following the Badger State joining the first 15.

“Times like these are precisely why the Founders created the mechanisms in Article V,” agreed Wisconsin State Representative Dan Knodl. “Federal overreach has thrown our country into chaos, and it’s time for the states to exercise their authority as granted to them in the constitution to restore order, states’ rights, and limited, constitutional government. I’m incredibly proud that our state has officially thrown its support behind this movement.”

Senators in Nebraska are expected to take their final vote on the COS Resolution in a matter of days.

Once 34 states apply for a convention to propose amendments on the same issue (i.e., limiting the power and jurisdiction of the federal government), Article V requires Congress to name the place and the time for the convention. If it fails to exercise this power reasonably, either the courts or the states themselves can override Congressional inaction.

The coalition of Americans who have joined the Convention of States Action group indicate they have “built robust teams in all 50 states, some of which are tens of thousands of patriots strong.”

“Washington, D.C., is broken. The federal government is spending this country into the ground, seizing power from the states and taking liberty from the people,” the group emphasizes. “It’s time American citizens took a stand and made a legitimate effort to curb the power and jurisdiction of the federal government. The Founders gave us a tool to fix Washington, D.C. We must use it before it is too late.”

Many of their members and teams have secured a local or state elected position in various states. Some of the most noteworthy achievements include:

In Virginia, COS District Captain Karen Greenhalgh won a race against an incumbent candidate for a seat in Virginia’s House of Delegates.

In New Jersey, Convention of States Petition signer Edward Durr shocked the nation in 2021 when he ousted the longtime president of the New Jersey state senate, Steve Sweeney. .

In Texas, State Director Shelby Williams won a seat on the Plano City Council in 2019. Initially faced with two opponents, Shelby gained enough grassroots support to prevent the well-known incumbent from garnering the 50% of votes required to win outright in the May 4th election, thereby triggering a run-off election. Though ending 2.5 points behind on May 4th, in the final June 8th vote, Shelby pulled ahead to a 53-47% victory.

In Ohio, Mike Carey won a seat in Ohio’s 15th Congressional District on Nov 4, 2021, replacing resigned Rep. Steve Stivers. Mike signed the COS petition at the Madison County, Ohio county fair in July 2021.

In Wisconsin, former COS State Director Tom Peters was elected to the County Board in Brown County.

In Minnesota, John Heinrich won his election thanks in large part to Convention of States volunteers. In 2018, Heinrich faced four challengers in the primary, two of whom were against a Convention of States and two of whom were noncommittal.

Florida Governor DeSantis Calls on Employers Held Liable For Injuries From Forced Vaccines

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis is calling for employers to be held liable if their employees suffer injuries from mandated vaccines — even if the mandates were a result of federal edicts.

“We need to take action to protect Florida jobs and we have a situation now, unfortunately, in our country where we have a federal government that is very much trying to use the heavy hand of government to force a lot of these injections,” DeSantis said.

Saying he and his constituents believe in “basic medical freedom and individual choice,” and that “your right to earn a living should not be contingent upon COVID shots,” DeSantis said

If OSHA ends up coming out with the mandate dictated by President Biden, he plans to contest it, DeSantis added. He also plans to contest federal mandates on contractors that work with the federal government, but also work on the state level.

He also plans to contest the mandate that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services are talking about handing down on hospitals and health care providers that accept Medicare and Medicaid.

“So what we’re going to be doing in addition to mounting aggressive legal challenges to federal mandates [is to] be taking legislative action to add protections for people,” he noted.

DeSantis Speaks Out About Biden’s Health Agenda and Florida

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis recently spoke out about the Joe Biden Administration’s handling of the pandemic and how his state differs.

“The ‘experts’… think if you tell people recovery from COVID provides strong protection, some people will say, ‘Oh, I might as well just go and get infected’… and I don’t think most people would do it,” DeSantis observed.

“But even if someone does, you have to say the truth to people.” he continued. “You can’t tell noble lies to try to get them to behave in a way that you think you want them to behave in.”

“Clearly, if this wasn’t something that was durable, you’d see massive reinfections by now,” he noted. “No noble lies. You tell the truth on what the data is saying, and the same thing with the treatment, the antibodies.”

“When you’re in the midst of a wave, you can vaccinate, it doesn’t kick in for probably six weeks after that, so what are you going to do to help people in the meantime?” the Governor commented. “And we were seeing people who were vaccinated getting infected.”

“The role that vaccinated people play in spreading it,” DeSantis said. “I don’t know, but I can tell you, I think every state in the country had higher cases this summer than they did last summer, when no one was vaccinated, so it’s hard for me to think it’s only occurring among a small slice.”

“I do think that one of the reasons why [monoclonal antibody treatment] was not something that was put out there very publicly by the experts and by the powers that be in D.C. is because they feared that if you tell people there’s an effective treatment, you tell people COVID’s a treatable illness, they feared some people would say, ‘Well, you know, maybe I won’t get vaccinated, I’ll just get the treatment,’ and so they didn’t want that message out because they feared how people would behave.” – Governor DeSantis

“Many physicians, as of last month, were still telling people, ‘Ok, go home, hope you don’t get deathly ill. If you get deathly ill, go to the hospital.’ There was never any belief that this should be treated or even could be treated—I don’t know why” he said. “But I do think that one of the reasons why [monoclonal antibody treatment] was not something that was put out there very publicly by the experts and by the powers that be in D.C. is because they feared that if you tell people there’s an effective treatment, you tell people COVID’s a treatable illness, they feared some people would say, ‘Well, you know, maybe I won’t get vaccinated, I’ll just get the treatment,’ and so they didn’t want that message out because they feared how people would behave.”

“In my view, it complements,” he told reporters. “When we started doing our push… we raised awareness.. and then we expanded access… Now you have other states where they’re now following Florida’s lead.”

“You gotta tell people the truth, and you gotta let them make decisions,” he emphasized. “They may not always make the decision that you want them to make, but I think that’s much better than pulling the wool over their eyes.”

“And why are they targeting Florida? Biden, he loves talking about Florida. He hates Florida more than anything, and this is absolutely going to hurt people… There’s a time for politics, I get that, but to be so obsessed with trying to kneecap Florida any way you can that you would take away life-saving treatments—I’m sorry, some things should be beyond politics.” – Governor DeSantis

DeSantis then said that despite the success of monoclonal antibody treatments in Florida, “the Biden administration has dramatically cut the share of monoclonal—first of all, they seized control of the supply nationwide, and now they’re dramatically cutting what’s coming to the state of Florida. That’s wrong. That is dead wrong.”

“And why are they targeting Florida? Biden, he loves talking about Florida. He hates Florida more than anything, and this is absolutely going to hurt people,” DeSantis announced. “We’re going to work like hell to make sure that anyone who needs it… I hope to have an announcement on that soon… If they don’t have enough of it, that’s mismanagement on their part…”

“There’s a time for politics, I get that, but to be so obsessed with trying to kneecap Florida any way you can that you would take away life-saving treatments—I’m sorry, some things should be beyond politics.”

DeSantis Announces New Florida Surgeon General With Common Sense

When Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced the appointment of Dr. Joseph A. Ladapo, MD, PhD, as state Surgeon General and Secretary of the Florida Department of Health on September 21, it couldn’t have excited his constituents more…and upset mainstream media further.

A graduate of Wake Forest University, Dr. Ladapo holds an MD from Harvard Medical School and a PhD in Health Policy from Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

Ladapo said he was “very happy to be… working with Governor DeSantis and the leadership here in Florida to really think thoughtfully and in a very positive way about our public health here in Florida and frankly, hopefully set an example for other states around the country and maybe even further than that.”

While mainstream media tried their best to slant, bias and portray Dr. Lapado negatively, his background and wisdom made good sense to most Floridians.

“There are a few things we’re going to keep in mind as we approach public health here,” he said. “The first is that Florida will completely reject fear as a way of making policies in public health. We’re done with fear. That’s something that’s been unfortunately a centerpiece of health policy in the United States ever since the beginning of the pandemic, and it’s over here. Expiration date, it’s done.”

Dr. Ladapo was recently granted a professorship at the University of Florida (UF) College of Medicine. Prior to joining UF, he served as an associate professor at the David Geffen School of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) caring for hospitalized patients.

“We’re compassionate, we get it, there are scary things, we’ve seen a lot of fear from COVID over the past year and a half, and it’s very understandable,” he continued. “But the way to approach that is not from a place of fear because it doesn’t lead to good decisions. And we’ve seen a lot of that, where the risks and benefits of decisions haven’t been considered wholly or thoughtfully.”

“That’s over here. In terms of our approach… we’re going to acknowledge the fact that there are some things that are scary, but that’s not the place that we’re going to make decisions from,” he noted. “So we’re going to really think globally about the health policy decisions that we make in this state.”

Science vs. Opinion

“The second thing that I plan to be sure is very clear in our policymaking is that we’re going to… be very explicit about the differences between the science and our opinions,” he announced. “So we all have opinions, we all have a perspective, and we are absolutely entitled to those perspectives.”

“What’s been happening over the past year is that people have been taking the science, and they’ve been mis-representing it,” he said. “It’s been unclear where the discussion about the science ends and discussion about how you feel about the science and what you want people to do with the science begins. That will never be a problem here… You’ll know when we’re talking about data, and you’ll know when we’re talking about our opinions, our impressions, our preferences about the data.”

Public Health is Multi-Faceted

“And the the third thing is that we are going to never lose sight of the fact that public health is not one thing,” Dr. Ladapo told the enthusiastic crowd. “Public health is not about a single item, it’s not about how many cases of COVID there are in a location. That is a part of public health, but it’s not the only thing. As all of you know, that’s how public health has been treated over the past year and a half. That’s over, it’s not going to happen here.”

“As a perfect example of how glaringly we’ve ignored what public health really means… how we’ve just brazenly pulled children, who need the structure of school and need the structure of a routine in their lives, out of school… It’s terrible to do it for all kids, but we’ve also done it for kids with disabilities, and people have hardly even batted an eye.”

“What’s been happening over the past year is that people have been taking the science, and they’ve been mis-representing it… It’s been unclear where the discussion about the science ends and discussion about how you feel about the science and what you want people to do with the science begins. That will never be a problem here.” – Dr. Ladapo

Polar Opposites, Washington & Florida Governors Take Strong Actions on Biden COVID Mandates

Lawsuit File Against Washington State While Florida Vows to Protect Citizens Freedoms

Washington state police officers, firefighters, corrections officers, transit workers, and other government employees banded together to file a lawsuit today against Democratic Governor Jay Inslee over one of most restrictive mandates in U.S. history.

Inslee is demanding that state employees get fully vaccinated against COVID-19 by October 18 or lose their jobs.

The lawsuit was filed on September 10 at the Walla Walla County superior court and listed more than 90 plaintiffs, according to the filing. The suit contends that Inslee’s order violates their constitutional rights and oversteps the governor’s legal authority.

Democrat Inslee

Even though the order includes some token medical and religious exemptions, the suit said the state made religious exemptions “as narrow as possible.”

The order had led “their religious sincerity [to be] questioned,” according to the suit.

Others said they should be exempt from vaccination on the grounds that they tested positive for COVID-19 antibodies.

“The penalties for not taking affirmative action to comply with the Governor’s Mandate are overly severe, punitive, and unconscionable,” the filing read.

“The penalty is further arbitrary and capricious were not tailored to those state employees with natural immunity by virtue of prior infection and/or the ability to perform their duties from home.”

Inslee joined other states in instituting a vaccine mandate directed at state employees last month, but the difference in his mandate is the fact that employees can be fired. Most other areas permitted employees to avoid vaccination if they agreed to undergo regular testing.

Republican DeSantis

Meanwhile, Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida vowed to fight current White House Resident Joe Biden over his vaccine mandates.

Today, DeSantish warned Florida businesses that they would be charged if they ask customers for proof of vaccination.

Speaking in Alachua County, DeSantis slammed Biden’s vaccine requirements and said they ignored the science regarding people’s natural immunity after being infected with COVID-19.

DeSantis and fellow elected officials committed to their stance by banning so-called vaccine passports or requiring proof of vaccination through both an executive order and a law. That rule is going into effect on September 16.

DeSantis emphasized that cities or counties in Florida that require public government employees to get vaccinated to keep their jobs will be charged $5,000 for every single violation, with violators at risk of paying millions of dollars in fines.

“We are going to stand for the men and women who are serving us. We are going to protect Florida jobs,” the governor said. “We are not going to let people be fired because of a vaccine mandate.”

As of Monday, 27 states have joined together against the Biden mandates.

More States Supporting Texas and Arizona With Biden’s Border Crisis

Over 3,000 state troopers from other states are being sent to the southern borders of Texas and Arizona to help with the Biden Immigration Crisis.

🔹Harvard-Harris poll indicates that 64% of registered voters think Pres. Biden should “issue new, stricter policies to reduce the flow of people across the border.”

🔹63% of Texas voters believe Kamala Harris’s appearance in El Paso recently had little purpose other than another worthless photo opportunity.

🔹The latest Fox News poll found that 54% of Americans disapprove of Pres. Biden’s handling of the border crisis.

Idaho

“The State of Idaho proudly stands with our fellow Americans along the United States-Mexico border and will do what we can to protect the American people – Idahoans – against the damaging consequences of the inaction of the Biden-Harris Administration,” Gov. Brad Little said in a statement.

“Smuggling of drugs and illegal weapons, property destruction, and the daily influx of increasing numbers of illegal immigrants into our country are problems that are getting worse by the day,” he noted.

“It is time for our nation’s Governors to do what the federal government won’t – secure the border. Idaho is evaluating our resources, and I will have more to share with Idahoans about our support of this important call to protect our country.”

South Dakota

Republican South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem tweeted on June 28, “Tomorrow morning I’m officially announcing up to 50 National Guard troops to Texas to help secure our border.”

Noem

“The Biden Administration has failed to keep America safe. We shouldn’t be making our own communities vulnerable by sending police to fix Biden’s border crisis.”

Iowa

“My first responsibility is to the health and safety of Iowans and the humanitarian crisis at our nation’s southern border is affecting all 50 states,” Gov. Kim Reynolds said in a statement.

“The rise in drugs, human trafficking, and violent crime has become unsustainable,” she said. “Iowa has no choice but to act, and it’s why I am honoring Texas’ Emergency Management Assistance Compact following assurances from the Iowa Department of Public Safety that it will not compromise our ability to provide all necessary public safety services to Iowans.”

Reynolds noted the deciding point for her action came through skyrocketing amounts of illegal drugs coming into the state.

Florida

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis was the first state leader to response to the request for help from Texas and Arizona saying said no state is immune from the border crisis.

DeSantis

“America’s border security crisis impacts every state and every American,” DeSantis said in a statement.

“The Biden Administration ended policies implemented by President Trump that were curbing illegal immigration, securing our border, and keeping Americans safe,” he stated.

“Governors Abbott and Ducey recently sent out a call for help to every state in the nation, needing additional law enforcement manpower and other resources to aid with border security. I’m proud to announce today that the state of Florida is answering the call. Florida has your back.”

Nebraska

Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts soon followed saying his state would be sending about 25 Nebraska state troopers to Texas.

“Nebraska is stepping up to help Texas respond to the ongoing crisis on their border with Mexico,” he said in a statement.

“The disastrous policies of the Biden-Harris Administration created an immigration crisis on the border,” he noted. “While the federal government has fallen short in its response, Nebraska is happy to step up to provide assistance to Texas as they work to protect their communities and keep people safe.”

Georgia

Georgia decided to send state troops too.

South Carolina

South Carolina troops are on the way.

Oklahoma

Good neighboring state Oklahoma is sending troops.

Kentucky

Kentucky will also be joining other states lending support to protect the nation’s southern border, but their Democrat Gov. Andy Beshear put a political spin on his announcement Thursday.

Saying his commonwealth will deploy 220 National Guard members to the nation’s southern border–but not until October–he added, “This is a direct request from the federal government, from the Department of Homeland Security.”

“Florida Has Your Back,” DeSantis Tells Texas and Arizona On Border Crisis

After the White House stopped the progress on building the border wall implemented by President Donald J. Trump, Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced the Lone Star State would continue with the completion.

Texas and Arizona have been calling for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to help deal with the migration crisis at the U.S.-Mexico border to no avail.

The Biden administration has basically ignored the crisis, so Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has announced his state will help Texas and Arizona.

“The Biden Administration ended policies implemented by President Trump that were curbing illegal immigration, securing our border, and keeping Americans safe,” DeSantis told a group of state and local law enforcement agencies today. “Governors Abbott and Ducey recently sent out a call for help to every state in the nation, needing additional law enforcement manpower and other resources to aid with border security.”

“America’s border security crisis impacts every state and every American,” DeSantis said.“I’m proud to announce today that the state of Florida is answering the call. Florida has your back.”

Gov. Abbott announced the news of continuing the building the wall while discussing other border initiatives, including a $1 billion allocation for border security in the state’s legislatures passed and a plan to establish a Governor’s Task Force on Border and Homeland Security with public safety and state government officials.

“It will help all of us to work on ways to stem the flow of unlawful immigration and to stem the flow of illegal contraband,” Abbott said, while seated next to officials from the National Guard, Texas Department of Public Safety, and Texas Division of Emergency Management.

Abbott also announced plans to increase arrests along the border and expand space inside local jails.

“They don’t want to come across the state of Texas anymore because it’s not what they were expecting,” Abbott said to applause. “It’s not the red carpet that the federal administration rolled out to them.”

“If that border was under control, we would have less meth pouring into Florida communities and particularly in the northern part of the state,” DeSantis said.

Florida’s Attorney, General Ashley Moody, said she is “dedicated to ending human trafficking, protecting our children from sexual predators, and fighting the opioid crisis now claiming 21 lives a day in our state, but President Biden is hurting, not helping us achieve these vital public safety goals.”

FL AG Ashley Moody

“The crisis the President created at our southern border makes all of us less safe, and I am proud to stand with Governor DeSantis as he tries to fix the President’s disaster at the border to protect Floridians,” Moody added.
