Monticello, the mountaintop home of Thomas Jefferson, author of the American Declaration of Independence and third president of the United States, is apparently going woke.
Social media and even mainstream news have been putting their spins on this World Heritage Site, historic house and plantation, museum, research institute, presidential library and private, non-profit organization:
Thomas Jefferson:
🔹fought against tyranny.
🔹helped create a free republic.
🔹wrote much in our founding documents that would ultimately lead multitudes of the citizens of the new nation to believe that slavery was wrong and immoral and give their lives to bring about its abolition.
A Peek at New World Order?
A $20 million donation in 2015, from far-left billionaire David M. Rubenstein, initiated the intent to rewrite history through the Thomas Jefferson Foundation.
Rubenstein, is not only a New World Order globalist, he was on the boards of the World Economic Forum (authors of the “Great Reset”), China’s Tsinghua University, and the Council on Foreign Relations.

Jeffrey Tucker of the libertarian Brownstone Institute said that “the whole thing has the feel of propaganda and manipulation. People on my tour seemed sad and demoralized.”

I visited twice in the early 90s. I did manage a quick trip up the small stairs to the ballroom. Every conservative I know complains about the ” wokies,” but non of them ( me included) do a darn thing to right the wrong. I have come to the conclusion that 82 million of us are cowards. Imagine being afraid of a group of half-assed educated, green hair, transgendered, fishing tackle face losers that would piss their pants if we grabbed them. Geez. David McCollough wrote a great book on Jefferson; give it a read.

I’m certain I specifically do things (boycott, influence others through writing, turn off TV, speak to groups, etc) against wokeism. I’m certainly not afraid of them. Never will be. 🇺🇸😀

He’s easy to find. He appears often on Bloomberg TV and attends many board of director meetings for the Carlyle Investment Group and so many others.

I went about 25 years ago. I think a balanced portrayal is best. He did some very great things and some bad things. He was very much a man of his time and should be judged accordingly. Just present the good, the bad and the ugly in the proper historical contex and let the visitors decide.

Not propaganda. Just the facts. He does not need a hagiography but an honest and balanced portrayal. However there should be some respect for his memory especially in his own house.

I toured it twice in the 90s and yes, it mentioned he had slaves, most plantation owners and our founding fathers did, but Jefferson treated his differently. He paid them, and even though they worked his land and farmed, he didn’t mistreat them in any way, so this woke shit they are spitting out is totally false. I think white America is burned out and fatigued with the black radicals trying to revive their mistreatment as slaves. They should look at what their culture has become because of their impulsive no holds barred attitude and the way they raise their children. the Africans sold their own people into slavery, and they even had slaves, even in Biblical times. The Left is on a mission and is succeeding in re-wiring the brains of our children and our American history, and I am disgusted by it, and yes, I may sound a bit racist, but then, someone with a damn brain come up with a good description of the word racist and who and what they actually do. I don’t carry hope for our generation between 20 and 30 years old, they are the first group that had their brains turned to mush by the teachers’ unions and now they vote in Mamdani and El Sayed because they believe everything will be free. They don’t know history, or care to know, they don’t want to work, and they don’t give a damn about this country. Not all of them, but the largest majority seems to reside in the northeast and in towns with universities. Austin is lost, New York is lost, Michigan needs to be burned to the ground, and L.A. needs a good old catastrophic earthquake to finish the job the fires didn’t. Nuff said.
