He has been found and we have visited him in a local San Antonio Methodist Hospital. He was brought by ambulance on the day he had a stroke, but did not have an ID with him.

Dodie’s (Loralyn/Dodie McMeans Dennis) younger brother has been missing from the Southside of San Antonio, Texas for 11 days now.
Raymond “Ray” Bailey, from the 1978 class of Dillard McCollum High School (Date of Birth 1/1/1960) was very dehydrated and somewhat disoriented when he walked out of his Mission Villas apartment (the old Pollyanna Apartments) at 247 West Dickson Ave Apt 618, 78214) Friday morning (6/26/26) to walk to Military Drive (possibly to HEB Food/Drugs at Pleasanton/Military Dr.) to get water & food.
He has not been seen since and this is very much unlike him. His friend/roommate, Leah, said he was “shaky and seemed confused” when he left and absolutely expected to return. He only had a few dollars with him but no wallet, no ID, or phone.
Leah said there was no tension except that he seemed thirsty, confused and hungry. He just wanted to go to the store and was uncharacteristically “babbling” (had not been drinking).
Dodie & I both talked with police officer Sloat (Badge # 1381) who informed us that their policy in this case is not to put a MISSING PERSONS ALERT out, but they do have a BOLO (Be On the LOOKOUT) alert for him.
Police did go by the Bailey family’s childhood home at 315 East Villaret (Kingsborough neighborhood) just to make certain, but someone is living in their former home now.)
Please share this with everyone you know on the Southside, especially in the Harlandale & McCollum High School areas. His family is extremely worried as this is very unlike him.

Thank you everyone for your prayers that my brother Ray be found. By God’s grace he’s safe and being cared for by exceptional staff in a San Antonio Hospital. Apparently he’s been there since the day he went missing ~ June 26th. When Ray suffered a massive stroke, he had no identification on him, so the hospital staff didn’t know who he was. Thankfully, someone saw the Endangered Missing Person’s Alert that had his photo posted prominently. At this point Ray’s speech is mostly faint mumbling, so he was unable to identify himself to his caregivers. But God has had His mighty right hand on my brother during this entire 14 day journey. We have no doubt whatsoever about that. Your collective prayers, diligence in searching for him, and posting flyers containing his photo brought the authorities closer every day to locating and identifying him. Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for your part in locating and returning our brother to us. We’re forever grateful for ongoing prayers during this recovery process we’re beginning together. God bless each of you! 💗🙏

Oh, Dodie, I am just sittling here laughing with joy! Thank God; He is SO GOOD.
Now, we can get to work praying for his full recovery, and anything else needed.
I tell ya, our little brothers can really put us through the mill.
