Violent Deaths, by the Numbers in America Increasing Enormously

For the last ten years violent deaths have increased significantly in the United States. The majority of totals and increases are occurring in Democrat controlled areas.

Here are the total number of people killed by mass shootings in the United States of America since 2014:

2014: 273

2015: 336

2016: 383

2017: 348

2018: 336

2019: 417

2020: 610

2021: 690

2022: 647

First seven weeks of 2023: 67

The national suicide rate increased 4% from 2020 to 2021, according to a new National Center for Health Statistics report. It is the largest annual increase in over twenty years.

Data shows girls ages ten to 14 saw the largest percentage increase in suicide rates from 2001 to 2021.

Here are the suicide numbers:

2014: 18,800

2015: 19,800

2016: 20,600

2017: 22,100

2018: 22,400

2019: 22,100

2020: 22,400

2021: 26,100

2022: 26,500

The year of the pandemic was brutal for America in many ways. U.S. murder/homicide rate for 2020 was 6.52, a 28.64% increase from 2019. It had been declining during President Donald Trump’s first 3 years.

  1. I heard on a conservative radio show that the FBI had stopped counting certain murder statistics in otder to make Democrat cities and states look good. However, to cover their backside, they also started counting violent deaths by community (so that funding to minority communities already hit by Democrat “defund the police” initiatives would not suffer even more).
