Makes No Dollars and Sense

Texas recently had to take over the Houston Public School District because of their failing performance ratings in practically every graded category.
Most Big Media will distort or ignore the fact that a major reason for these bad performances is because over a third of the students in those Houston public schools are being taught English in lieu of other subjects.
As the Biden Administration and our federal government continues to allow millions of people to enter our country illegally with no background, criminal or health checks, little public focus is spent on reporting how much this is costing American families and children in terms of dollars and sense.

School districts report how many students are “English Language Learners,” but do not reveal how many students are illegal residents.
Last week, the Department of Education’s Office of English Language Acquisition announced 44 awards nationwide, of nearly $120 million over five years.
Last month, New York decided to change what it takes for students to reach “proficiency” on state math and English language arts tests, calling last year’s lower scores the “new normal.”
In Rochester, almost one in ten students speak one of 96 different non-English languages in their schools.

Over a million people come into this country legally each year, but their children are far more likely to be prepared for our English-language schools than illegals.
Here is the percentage of English Language Learners in some city schools around the nation:
Houston, Texas: 36%
Denver, Colorado: 34%
Boston, Mass. 33%
Los Angeles, Ca. 28%
Miami-Dade, Fla. 23%
Chicago, Illinois 18%
Columbus Ohio: 15%
Wake County, N.C. 11%
Detroit, Mich. 10%
Philadelphia, Pa. 9%
That’s an average of about 22%. The federal government’s National Center for Education Statistics indicates some 10.4% of all U.S. students were English Learners in 2019, well before Joe Biden began the illegal border free-for-all in 2021.

$682 Billion was spent on K-12 education in public schools in 2019, meaning about $71 Billion is used up annually teaching some other countries’ children how to speak English.
This is not only an enormous tax on American citizens, but teaching five million kids something other students already know slows down education for everyone.

It’s not limited to public schools. This month, Harvard University admitted a record number of Asian American students to its class of 2027, while English speaking Black, Hispanic and other minority groups students are experiencing drops in admissions.
Currently, the Supreme Court continues deliberations on a lawsuit brought against Harvard regarding how their race-conscious admissions discriminate against white students.

Jack, I could write page after page of rages and rants about this. Bottom line is it’s all about future voters and a one party rule of uneducated voters living off the government dole so our country will be a one party socialist system. Anything other than that is BS and we all know it. Thanks for reporting, you’re getting to be better than Fox and Newsmax.

These illegals also bring diseases into the country with them.
