Barack Obama administration’s ambassador to China has found a lucrative new life as a pro-China talking head at their regime propaganda outlets.

Former ambassador Max Baucus is a popular propagandist on various Chinese propaganda outlets, repeatedly comparing the U.S. rhetoric about China to both the McCarthy era and Nazi Germany.

🔹He has been interviewed on China Global Television Network (CGTN), a regime mouthpiece, Xinhua News Agency, a state-owned outlet.

🔹He appears on syndicated in party-controlled mouthpieces such as Global Times and People’s Daily.

🔹He has spoken at events backed by the China-U.S. Exchange Foundation, a registered foreign agent of the Chinese government according to a 2018 congressional report.

🔹Baucus’s post-retirement public statements praising China have coincided with his burgeoning overseas investments.

🔹In 2017, he founded the Baucus Group, a consulting firm that advises both American and Chinese businesses.

🔹He also sits on the board of directors for Ingram Micro, a U.S. subsidiary of a Chinese state-owned conglomerate, as well as the board of advisers for Alibaba Group, one of China’s largest tech companies.

Obama-Biden Green Energy Scandal

It is important to remember when Barack Obama visited the California based Solyndra energy company in May of 2010, with mainstream media by his side to promote the shady company, the then Obama-Biden White House claimed they were “leading the way toward a brighter and more prosperous future.” 

By August 2011, Solyndra was bankrupt. Where did the $535 million given to them by the Obama-Biden administration go?

“If White House officials handled taxpayer dollars irresponsibly for the sake of promoting Obama’s signature piece of legislation at the time, it would constitute a potential ethical lapse that resonates with criticisms against the stimulus and ballooning deficits,” wrote the Atlantic.

The Week revealed, “The family foundation of billionaire George Kaiser, an Obama fundraiser, is one of Solyndra’s big investors. The GOP says that Team Obama interfered to speed up the loan approval, cutting short due diligence so that Vice President Joe Biden could announce the loan at the Sept. 4, 2009, groundbreaking of a new Solyndra factory being financed by that government cash.” 

Meanwhile, Joe Biden’s Department of Energy is touting a grant to a lithium battery company as part of his KICKBACK INFESTED Build Back Better green energy money laundering schemes.

Biden’s DOE or media did not mention that the Texas company receiving the grant operates primarily from China and is under scrutiny from American financial regulators.

Now let’s jump over the Ukraine energy and Hunter Biden corruption, as well as FTX, to discover what Biden is up to now.

Biden’s Department of Energy announced in October that it would give a $200 million award to Microvast Holdings to build a battery separator facility in Tennessee, using funding from Nancy Pelosi’s sham Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.

At the time, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said the grant would “supercharge the private sector to ensure our clean energy future is American-made.”

But hold on! There has to be a catch or incentive for Biden, doesn’t there?

🔹Financial records show the company operates primarily out of China. Microvast itself says the Chinese government “exerts substantial influence over the manner in which we must conduct our business activities and may intervene, at any time and with no notice.”

The company was also recently added to a Securities and Exchange Commission watchlist of Chinese companies that are on track to be delisted from NASDAQ for failing to comply with U.S. auditing requirement.

“Giving hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars to a company whose operations are based in China that refuses to comply with American securities rules is crazy,” Florida Senator Marco Rubio (R) told the Washington Free Beacon.

“What’s more, any new technology developed in this partnership is almost certainly going to benefit China given Microvast’s operations there. It is just another example of the Biden administration not understanding the threat posed by the Chinese Communist Party,” Rubio noted.

Supporting China’s Espon

This month it has been revealed that China operatives stole at least $20 million from U.S. taxpayer-funded COVID-19 relief benefits in more than a dozen states, the Secret Service reports.

Most recently, U.S. national security, intelligence and cybersecurity officials told NBC News:

The primary purpose of APT41’s state-directed activity, the experts and officials say, is believed to be collecting personally identifying information and data about American citizens, institutions, and businesses that can be used by China for espionage purposes.

The experts and officials describe the Chinese model of “state-sponsored” hackers as a network of semi-independent groups conducting contract work in service of government espionage. … APT41, also known to cybersecurity firms as Winnti, Barium, and Wicked Panda, fits the model and is considered a particularly prolific Chinese intelligence asset, known to commit financial crimes on the side.
