The Hershey Company turned against their employees and many consumers by “going woke” when the chocolate maker fired employees who refused to get injected with the Chinese coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine.
The Pennsylvania-based company asked employees to sign a nine-page waiver that absolves the company from legal liabilities. The waiver also bars former workers from talking about their experience.
Upon signing the waiver, the employees would be given a “special separation payment” determined by an algorithm. However, many affected Hershey’s employees refused to sign the document and declined the money, which only amounted to two months’ salary for some.
Hershey’s announced a COVID-19 vaccine mandate in August 2021 that went into effect two months later in October. The mandate applied to salaried employees, but excluded factory workers and staff members at the Hershey’s Chocolate World stores.
A company spokesperson said that “a small number” of salaried employees were terminated due to noncompliance with the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.
“A small number of individuals who did not get vaccinated were separated from the company,” the spokesperson said. It was not clear how many employees were laid off.
According to employees who were terminated, Hershey’s human resources (HR) department intimidated them during meetings by asking intrusive questions. Some who sought religious exemptions claimed they were feeling “harassed” with the line of questions being thrown their way.
Many such questions were conducted by employees immediate supervisor and a representative from the human resources department.
Those questions included:

🔹Are your children vaccinated?
🔹How do you protect yourself when you leave your home?
🔹How often do you go to church?
🔹Do you take Tylenol, Ibuprofen, Tums or Midol? If so, how can you say that you’re truly a religious person because a lot of those medicines also have the same ingredients as the vaccine?
Others were told that Pope Francis is also vaccinated and that he has proclaimed that vaccination is one of the greatest gifts a person can give to their communities

I’m Byzantine Catholic, we are under the Pope. Poland is 80%+ Catholic, America 24% Catholic. Poland ignores the Pope on issues of Refugees and Illegal Immigrants. This is not a good Pope, I’m not sure if he’s naive or evil. I suspect evil. I realize your Blog Entry is not about the Catholic church, but I just want people to know that the Pope is not the absolute word on all things. Archbishop Vigano (retired I believe) penned an open letter to President Trump on the Great Reset, and the pandemic being part of it. In Addition, Vigano has had much to say on the topic otherwise and does not spare criticism of the Pope.
Really, it comes down to trust, and I think most of us that are not vaccinated, have heard more than enough to prove that there are possible serious consequences for many for receiving it, and that it is either not effective, or not effective for very long. Hershey Employees that opted not to take the vaccine did the right thing, and those that opted not to sign an agreement limiting their ability to discuss the issue and their experiences also did the right thing.
I have not purchased a certain brand razor since they did a “Toxic Masculinity” commercial. I started using a system online where the razor refills are less expensive, only to find out they did or supported the Toxic Masculinity” concept. I stopped using their product too, and switched to razors not associated with such foolishness. Likewise, I will totally avoid Hershey products in protest of their unreasonable (in my opinion) vaccination drive efforts.

Today is deadline for my company ( Edgewell.) For the shot. We make Hawaiian Tropic suntan lotion, Energizer batteries and schwick shavers. I’m curious what’s going to happen. Sounds familiar; my HR is handling things like this, and I’ve heard the religious exemption process is just like you described. I haven’t liked Hershey’s since they started putting EDTA in their candy anyway, so boycott!

You could take all the spots it says Hershey’s in this article and replace it with Smuckers, that’s how sick those slimy jelly bastards are.

Blast, this means I have to give up Smucker’s Natural Strawberry Jam. I only bought two jars, but this is the end. The only thing some of these companies understand is pain in the profits.
