Disgraced Congressional Representative Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), was “visibly shaken,” when Donald Trump blasted the 13 traitor GOP lawmakers who voted in support of the $1.2 trillion infrastructure bill last Friday according to the New York Post.
Trump spoke at a National Republican Congressional Committee dinner on Monday, mentioning those representatives who should be “ashamed of themselves” for “helping the Democrats.”
“I love all the House Republicans,” Trump said. “Well, actually I don’t love all of you. I don’t love the 13 that voted for Biden’s infrastructure plan.”
The package was approved by Congress by a vote of 228-206 with six Democrats dissenting. If the Republican caucus had voted in unison, the bill would not have passed.
Republicans who supported the bill were Reps. Adam Kinzinger (Ill.), Fred Upton (Mich), Anthony Gonzales (Ohio), David McKinley (W.Va.), Don Bacon (Neb.), Don Young (Alaska), Tom Reed (N.Y.), John Katko (N.Y.), Nicole Malliotakis (N.Y.), Andrew Garbarino (N.Y.), Brian Fitzpatrick (Penn.), Jeff Van Drew (N.J.), and Chris Smith (N.J.).
“Why is it that Old Crow Mitch McConnell voted for a terrible Democrat Socialist Infrastructure Plan, and induced others in his Party to do likewise, when he was incapable of getting a great Infrastructure Plan wanting to be put forward by me and the Republican Party?” Trump wrote after the vote.
“He continuously said he couldn’t get it passed, just like I had to go around him to get the very popular Southern Border Wall built (which caused great delay—but could now be completed in one month by Biden),” Trump said in the statement.
“All of the Infrastructure money, $2 Trillion, would have gone into real Infrastructure (roads, bridges, tunnels, airports, etc). Also, why did Mitch give the Democrats a two-month hiatus, just long enough for them to figure it all out, when they were completely ready to fold?,” Trump added.
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, (R-Ga.) listed the names of the 13 Republicans who, in her words, “handed over their voting cards to Nancy Pelosi to pass Joe Biden’s Communist takeover of America via so-called infrastructure.”
“Republicans who voted for the Democrats’ socialist spending bill are the very reason why Americans don’t trust Congress,” Rep. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., chairman of the conservative House Freedom Caucus, tweeted.
