We waited 45 years, 6 months and 11 days after I asked Dodie to go see Rod Stewart in concert at Hemisfair Arena in San Antonio, that we finally went on that date. Except this time Hemisfair Arena no longer existed and she lived in Arizona.

So we compromised. We met each other in Las Vegas and enjoyed his performance at Caeser’s Palace. Here are his greatest albums in order of historical successes.
Stewart’s third album is the one he’ll always be remembered for. Arriving during his time in Faces, Every Picture Tells a Story only features the group on one key song, and they would be pushed more and more toward the sidelines after this LP.

The rest includes bandmates that would help shape the next several years of Stewart’s career and songs that would become set-list staples: the title track, “Mandolin Wind,” “Reason to Believe” and “Maggie May,” a worldwide No. 1.

Oh, hey! Is that a new badge/logo/header? Or did I just miss it before now? I like it. Southwestern-style motif.

Thanks and yes ~ we introduced the relatively new logo around July 1st since we felt the original could use a little ‘spiffing up’. Glad you like the bolder look as much as we do. Thanks again for being such a faithful follower of Clever Journeys. 💖
