A Family’s Struggle: Heart Failure and the Covid Vaccine

Reader Meredith Robinson shares her family’s story:

On September 15, 2021, my husband woke up slurring his words and unable to use his right hand. He was diagnosed with advanced heart failure and had 3 strokes. We immediately knew.

The Covid vaccine caused this. He had his only Covid shot on August 15, 2021. In 30 days, he went from a fit 43 year old man, to a stroke patient in the hospital- unable to speak.

On the second day of his 8 day hospital stay, a nurse walked into the room- Covid shot in hand. “Time for your next Covid vaccine!” She said. I thank God I was there to tell her absolutely not. I was so angry. He couldn’t even speak. They didn’t ask if he wanted it. I am certain, had he gotten that shot, he would not be here today.

As for me, I have had health struggles since I got the shot, as well. I have autoimmune diseases, POTS, and orthostatic tremor (a rare, progressive, cognitive and movement disorder).

I have a small farm, and I was the girl who never sat down. Now, at 39, I am disabled. The damage done to me by the shot was slow progression. I did not notice it immediately. I thought I was just tired from raising 3 kids, my husband being in the hospital, us moving, etc. but it got worse and worse. I was vomiting everyday. Sometimes multiple times a day.

Out of nowhere. I made excuses for this as well, thinking I was just under a lot of stress. The years passed, the fatigue got worse.

This past August my blood sugar started crashing in the 30s out of nowhere. The tremors started. I was in bed 90% of the day. I began taking ivermectin after the tremors started. It has helped reduce some of my neurological issues.

Prayers for everyone dealing with this. I try to focus on the great things in my life, rather than my illness, but that is easier some days than others.
