A new Politico study reported on by Jonathan Gregory shatters the claim that illegal immigrants commit less violent crime than Americans. That claim was never an honest mistake. It was manufactured. Propaganda.
The study shows that Biden-Harris era crime statistics were padded and distorted to drive rates down. Border encounters were counted as population. Deportees were included. Individuals were double-counted across years. The result was predictable: murder rates diluted into fiction, in some cases by nearly tenfold!
This was not sloppy math. It was immoral dangerous fraud.
When the numbers are corrected, the truth emerges that illegal immigrants commit violent crime at far higher rates than previously reported. The data manipulation served one purpose—to protect an ideological narrative at the expense of safe streets.
Even if the lower numbers had been real, the argument would fail. Crimes committed by people who are not legally here are, by definition, preventable crimes. Pretending otherwise is a lie and abdication of responsibility.
Lying about murder statistics is not compassionate. It is an obscene, dangerous violation of trust. It treats Americans as collateral damage in exchange for creating a permanent political majority. It asks citizens to accept avoidable violence so elites can feel virtuous and Democrats can win elections.
This study confirms what critics warned: open-border support required falsified numbers to survive. President Trump’s demand for enforcement was grounded in truth. The deception used to oppose it was grounded in politics,—and paid for in human suffering.

I know that in my dinky little area we stopped counting crime statistics for a few years. Law enforcement was simply told not to turn those over.
