  1. I made soup and brought a batch to my daughter’s to share with her family. She put my hot soup in a paper bowl. When I ate it, it tasted off. Whatever plastic or wax the paper bowls were coated with leached into the soup. So, yes, hot foods belong on glass/ceramic dinnerware. 🙂

  2. Well I might as well have an IV drip instead. I do enjoy all the above. I did limit to very occasionally drink from aluminum cans. Use pyrex pie plates only. All stainless steel pots. Silicon mats for baking or parchment paper only.

I have found for sausages, hot dogs I boil them first to cook out the nitrates and all the other preservatives which helps tremendously in digestion. The color of the water doesn’t look appetizing either. I do buy deli meats in bulk where I slice them my self. I freeze in large batches. When I unthaw the meats there is lots of water. I then blot the meats with paper towel in process I notice a lot of preservative coloring on the paper towel. The salt is also lifted off as well. What a difference in taste as well. Doesn’t taste like a salt block. For the other I’m kind of guilty of enjoying BBQ.

Serves as good reminders of what we consume too much of. Thanks for the info
