  1. Then, if a test is multiple choice, when you don’t know the answer for sure, use the clock method; i.e., if the second hand is between 12 and 3, choose A; if the second hand is between 3 and 6, choose B; between 6 and 9, choose C; between 9 and 12, choose D.

    That’s if the room you’re in has a vintage clock on the wall. Also, that’s if the questions only have four or less possible choices.
