Where were our legislative representatives and senators?

In May, 2025, a senior contracting officer at the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) was charged with fraudulently obtaining pandemic relief funds.

Yusuf Akoll was a Senior Procurement Contract Specialist. He created a fake company. This was done to secure Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans totaling approximately $16,666.

Prosecutors revealed Akoll registered Naagode Consulting LLC in Virginia in November 2020. He falsely stated it was established in January 2020 to qualify for the loans. He also claimed the company had $40,000 in income in 2019, despite it having no income.

The case highlighted concerns over the Biden-Harris government’s disbursement of pandemic relief funds.

The Small Business Administration (SBA) did not verify Akoll’s claims against state corporation records. It also did not check federal tax returns. This allowed the fraudulent loan applications to be approved.

This oversight was just one of many examples. It was indicative of the “pay and chase” model adopted during the pandemic.

The Biden administration decided in 2023 not to pursue collection on these PPP loans under $100,000, citing “equity.” The SBA’s inspector general immediately criticized this move stating it was “not in compliance with applicable criteria.” This decision could encourage future fraud.

For decades, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has been unaccountable to taxpayers. They have been funneling massive sums of money to the ridiculous pet projects of entrenched bureaucrats.

In many cases, these projects are malicious, with next-to-no oversight.

Here are only a few more examples of the WASTE and ABUSE:

• $1.5 million to “advance diversity equity and inclusion in Serbia’s workplaces and business communities”

• $70,000 for production of a “DEI musical” in Ireland

• $2.5 million for electric vehicles for Vietnam

• $47,000 for a “transgender opera” in Colombia

• $32,000 for a “transgender comic book” in Peru

• $2 million for sex changes and “LGBT activism” in Guatemala

• $6 million to fund tourism in Egypt

• Hundreds of thousands of dollars for a non-profit linked to designated terrorist organizations — even AFTER an inspector general launched an investigation

• Millions to EcoHealth Alliance — which was involved in research at the Wuhan lab

• “Hundreds of thousands of meals that went to al Qaeda-affiliated fighters in Syria”

• Funding to print “personalized” contraceptives birth control devices in developing countries

• Hundreds of millions of dollars to fund “irrigation canals, farming equipment, and even fertilizer used to support the unprecedented poppy cultivation and heroin production in Afghanistan,” benefiting the Taliban.
