Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton commented on RINO Senator John Cornyn’s attempt to pat himself on the back for helping introduce a new pro-gun bill.
Paxton asked on X, “Remember when you helped Joe Biden pass his signature gun control bill?”
“Amazing how you claim to defend 2nd Amendment rights when it’s election season but choose to help the radical Left destroy constitutional freedoms during every other part of your term.”
The reply was regarding Cornyn’s Jan. 9, 2025 tweet:
“I am proud to lead my nearly all of my @SenateGOP colleagues in introducing a commonsense bill supported by @NRA, @NSSF, and @GunOwners that would make concealed carry reciprocity the law of the land. Looking forward to working with @realDonaldTrump to get this done.”
But the online response to Cornyn from his constituents was brutal.
“You know how we know election season is coming??” asked LJ. “You start talking the talk about our gun rights and all your gonna do to help GUESS what??? You can’t GASLIGHT us anymore RESIGN before we embarrass you and primary you!!!!”

Same reservations. Cornyn began losing me years ago, but his response to a question I directed to him re: his J6 response against Trump was the last straw.
