TX AG Paxton Scores Big Win Blocking Biden From Disposing Trump’s Border Wall

Attorney General Ken Paxton secured a victory for President-elect Donald Trump’s border-security agenda during a hearing Friday before a federal judge.

The hearing was called at  Paxton’s request to uncover potential legal violations committed by the Biden Administration after recent reports that segments of the border wall were auctioned off for pennies on the dollar.

The Biden Administration confirmed to the court Friday that it will agree to an order preventing the outgoing administration from disposing of any further border wall materials over the next 30 days—allowing President Trump to use those materials as he sees fit.

This will be adopted as an order of the court, making it enforceable if any violations occur.

Additionally, the court stated that Texas is entitled to documentation proving that the Biden Administration has not violated an injunction secured by Paxton in May of 2024 that required the Biden Administration to spend statutorily obligated funds on border wall construction after the federal government attempted to illegally redirect the money.

If it is shown that the Biden Administration disposed of border wall materials purchased with funds subject to that injunction in violation of a court order—or that the Department of Justice made misrepresentations regarding the border materials that have been auctioned off—this would constitute unethical and sanctionable conduct, and the responsible parties could be held in contempt of court.

“We have successfully blocked the Biden Administration from disposing of any further border wall materials before President Trump takes office,” said Paxton. “This follows our major victory forcing Biden to build the wall, and we will hold his Administration accountable for illegally subverting our Nation’s border security until their very last day in power, especially where their actions are clearly motivated by a desire to thwart President-elect Trump’s immigration agenda.”

  1. The Biden admin is doing everything in their power to disrupt the transition of power to President Trump. Biden lied yet again when he sit in the oval office with President Trump shook his hand and promised a smooth transition. That is exactly what the American citizens have put up with for 4 years. LIES! I am very proud of my Texan Rep’s AG Paxton, Gov Abbott, Senator Ted Cruz and others to stand up against Biden and his evil admin. President Trump will have our borders secure day 1. The American people spoke loudly on Nov 5th and demanded a stop to the madness the DemocRat party has put upon us. God Bless President Trump and God Bless the United States of America! MAGA! 2. Paxton is a bad-ass dude. Finally, Texas has pulled out their big stick and is using it. How sad that Biden is working to destroy this country up until the last minute. Trump should not allow him to attend the inauguration. You take an evil man, add dementia to the mix and you get a Demon. The Pope should have splashed some Holy water on Biden when he had the chance. My wife, Momo gave me a three-year subscription to Texas Monthly, that rag out of Austin. I’m on my third year and sometimes read it. Their writers have a lot to say about Paxton, Cruz and Abbot, none of it good, so that tells me they are doing something right.
