In November 2018, Donald Trump became the first president to visit Tupelo, Mississippi since Franklin Delano Roosevelt left there by train in 1934.
Famous as the hometown of the music and entertainment legend Elvis Presley, Trump mentioned to the crowd of thousands that people once compared him to The King.

“I am thrilled to be back in Tupelo,” said Trump. “I love Tupelo, home of thousands of hard-working American patriots and the proud birthplace of The King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, Elvis. Elvis! We love Elvis.
“I shouldn’t say this. You’ll say I’m very conceited ’cause I’m not,” he continued in good fun. “But other than the blonde hair, when I was growing up, they said I looked like Elvis. You see that? Can you believe it? I always considered that a great compliment.”

Trump has been a fan of Presley’s since the early days of rock music. The previous month he was excited to posthumously honor the singer, the late Babe Ruth, the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia and others with the Medal of Freedom — an award given to civilians who’ve made a significant contribution in the United States. During that ceremony, Trump also recalled attending one of Presley’s concerts in Las Vegas many years ago.
“At the end of a performance, oftentimes the fans would go so wild — I was there once in Las Vegas at the Hilton,” Trump revealed during a ceremony at The White House. “The fans were ripping the place apart, screaming. They were going crazy.

“And they announced, ‘Elvis has left the house (the building) Elvis…’ If they didn’t say that, I think I’d still be there,” Trump joked. “Maybe I wouldn’t be here. But they had to do that. ‘Elvis has gone. Elvis has left.'”
Explaining the posthumous award, the White House offered that “Presley defined American culture to billions of adoring fans around the world.
“Fusing gospel, country and rhythm and blues” the star had created “a sound all his own”.

Actually, there is even more of a resemblance between the young Elvis and Barron Trump. They both share the same “sultry” look. 🙂

There is a certain resemblance. especially when DJT was young. And Trump does dance! I am quite sure if he let loose that there would be even more of a similarity. He loves all kinds of music.
