Revenge at the Parking Nerds, Part 1

If you prick us do we not bleed? If you tickle us do we not laugh? If you poison us do we not die? And if you wrong us shall we not revenge? —William Shakespeare

Wrap it up!

Parked too much forward over the line, leaving a space for only a small car & this is what they came back to.
Parked in the way of the trash bin access.
Half on a planter. Half on parking space. A whole wrap.
Advanced?
Park the opposite of the marked angle & they will stick it to you.
Movie star’s message.
Parking Award with prizes.
After several polite notifications not to park there, the last one was more colorful.
This is how you do it!
Zip tied.
Take 2 spaces & someone was good enough to give you special stripes.

Halfway in the narrow street.

  1. Who has time to do all this revenge? It gives new thought to parking at the grocery store. Before it was not returning the cart to the cart corral now it’s staying within the lines or your car will get vandalized. I think the City or the Store needs to enforce rather than let these revengers go wild. But it is all about being courteous and more and more I see less people being courteous to others. Especially drivers. Interesting article.

  2. City people’s lives; high tension, we’ve had road rage, now we can have parking rage. With some humor attached. I guess if you haven’t learned any manners, it doesn’t hurt to have your fellow citizens raise you right. Within limits. I’ve never seen plastic wrap or any of these other things on cars, but I have seen some truly idiotic parking. Enjoyed this.

      • I love that you drive an older car. We have to do what we have to do. I bought a used GMC pickup in 2000. It had less than 2500 miles on it. When I finally sold it off a few years ago, it had over 313,000 miles on it. I miss that truck even today. We are a 1 vehicle family now.

      • I live in northeast Ohio where there’s plenty of snow, ice, and lake affect. The 1999 Toyota Camry has served me well and has minimal surface rust. It is pictured on the side of the road in my post https://5secondsmiles.com/2022/07/26/the-angel-in-the-camaro/

We bought it when it was ten years old from its original owner, another northeast Ohio resident. It’s also parked outside in the elements. Apparently, it’s a well built car. We did recently have to replace the fuel tank filler neck due to corrosion and the heat shield disintegrated this past winter. 🙂
