Schumer and Jeffries Endanger America by Defunding Security Agency

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y. are seriously placing America in serious danger.

The United States Secret Service has been badly hurt by the irresponsible action of the congressional Democrats in refusing to fund their office.

Here is the testimony of Matthew Quinn, deputy director of the Secret Service, before the Homeland Security Subcommittee way back on February 11, 2026:

“gaps in funding have a profound impact on the agency today and into the future…the repercussions on our agency are profound…a shutdown halts our reform efforts and undermines the momentum…the financial burden on our personnel during a shutdown is real.. our difficult mission becomes exceptionally more difficult during a lapse in mission.”

Across the nation citizens are demanding that Congress be called back into session seven days a week, 24 hours a day, until Chuck Schumer and Jeffries recognize that they have an obligation to put America ahead of Democratic politics and fund Homeland Security.

This is a national scandal and the Democrats have made it deliberately worse.
