Hell Has No Fury Like a REAL Woman Scorned

Riley Gaines Blasts Biden’s End of Title IX Protections for Females

Many of our readers around the world are familiar with Riley Gaines, the championship swimmer from the University of Kentucky who was forced to compete against a man – William “Lia” Thomas – at the NCAA women’s championship.

Mainstream news wasn’t nice to her while others sat idly by and allowed this injustice to happen.

“That’s when I realized that, if unprovoked, nobody was going to stand up for me or my teammates,” she explained. “So I had to speak out.”

“Because the truth matters. And the truth is there are only two sexes. Men are men. Women are women. There’s no doubt we were created equal – but we’re not the same.”

She notes that during her “senior year, as I approached the end of my collegiate swimming career at the University of Kentucky, the trajectory of my life changed. My teammates, competitors, and I had trained for our entire lives to compete against each other at the highest level. But at the 2022 Women’s NCAA Swimming Championships, we were blindsided.”

Thomas

“There was a new swimmer, Lia Thomas, who swooped in out of nowhere and broke record after record. It didn’t take long for us to realize that Lia Thomas was formerly Will Thomas. He swam for three years on the men’s team at University of Pennsylvania where he was mediocre at best, before switching to the women’s team his senior year. We spent our entire lives training to be the best in women’s sports, just to have to compete against a man – and be told to celebrate it.”

“I watched him steal trophies from girls I’d known my whole life. Girls who lived and breathed their sport since they were kids, just like I did. Girls who had titles, roster spots, and places on the podium unfairly taken from them like it was nothing.”

“On top of the unfair competition, we were also forced to share a locker room with Thomas. We weren’t even forewarned that we would be forced to undress in front of a 6’4” fully intact, 22-year-old male. As if that weren’t enough, we were effectively silenced by our universities with threats and intimidation.”

Will &/or Lia Thomas

“I thought, ‘Surely someone will see how unjust this is and put a stop to it. Surely a coach, an official, someone with political power, or a parent, will say something.’ Looking back, I realize how naive I was to think that.

“That’s why I launched the Riley Gaines Center at the Leadership Institute.”

“My team of Ambassadors and I are building a movement of students, athletes, and concerned citizens who are fed up with the attack on our freedoms and rights – and who dare to defy the dangerous gender ideology that’s spreading rampant and unchecked throughout society.

I’m not anti-trans. I’m pro-woman

“It shouldn’t be controversial to say there are only two sexes, you can’t change your sex, and each sex is deserving of equal opportunities.

“I’ve faced extreme resistance. Protesters consistently try to shout me down. University administrators try to cancel my speaking events. At San Francisco State University, I was physically assaulted by an angry mob, locked in a classroom, and held for ransom for over three hours.”

“But while I was barricaded in that classroom, I wrote on social media, “When they want you silent, speak louder.” And with the help of the Leadership Institute, that’s what my team and I are doing.”

Gaines sent out the following message on Saturday, May 25, 2024:

“Women no longer exist.

That’s the Biden Administration’s endgame, and their changes to Title IX today take a devastating step towards it.

For 52 years, Title IX has guaranteed the equal rights, protection, and access to the fruits of America’s prosperity for women.

America’s public institutions guaranteed young women like me had access to equal and fair opportunities and could pursue our dreams of achievement and success unhindered.

The Biden Administration ended those protections today.

My fellow Leadership Institute graduate — Congresswoman Virginia Foxx of North Carolina — said, “This final rule dumps kerosene on the already raging fire that is Democrats’ contemptuous culture war that aims to radically redefine sex and gender.”

Title IX used to protect against discrimination on the basis of sex — on the incontrovertible, biological fact that men are men and women are women and both are afforded equal access under the law to government-funded programs.

No more.

The Biden Administration has rewritten the statute to base the protection not on sex but on “gender identity” — a vague construction with no basis in science or common sense, but designed to push a harmful agenda.

…I’ve gotten used to the left trying to shut me up, but now they’re trying to erase all women.

This change opens up the floodgates for any man who simply “identifies” as a woman to invade female-only spaces.

It means the end of most single-sex spaces — especially ones meant to protect women — in every school, office, and institution that receives even a penny of federal funds.

The rule released today creates a default position where men who identify as women can take opportunities designated explicitly for women. This change means a male college student is now legally protected if he wants to join the women’s swimming team — and appear stark naked in their locker room.

It’s women who have to bear the burden of proving this unfairness.

This turns Title IX on its head because Title IX was never intended to be a fairness statute. It’s an opportunity statute, and when you take an opportunity from a woman, you violate that statute.

You see what this all means. It means there’s no difference between male and female anymore, according to Joe Biden.

And that especially puts so many girls and young women at risk at their schools and in their communities.

On behalf of America’s daughters, the young women who stand up for truth and their right to not have to share a bathroom with a man just because he says he’s a woman, here’s our response:

We will not be erased.

When they want you silent, speak louder.

That’s been my rallying cry since I got into this fight, and no “proclamation” from Joe Biden about what it means for me to be a woman will change that.

The Biden Administration thinks they can erase women, rewrite reality, and shove their radical gender ideology down our throats.

They are wrong.

I won’t be silent, and I don’t think you will be either, Friend.

Please, Friend — make a special gift today to stand with me for truth, common sense, and freedom.

You and I must fight this injustice. For the many thousands of young women who will soon be forced to share female-only spaces with men. And for all of the women who come after us who deserve to grow up in a country that protects and honors them.
