A Lady had a pet snake that she loved very much. The snake was about 7 ft long and one day it just stopped eating. After several weeks of trying everything the lady still couldn’t get the snake to eat.

The woman took the snake to the vet and explained her situation.
The vet replies “I see ..has your snake been sleeping with you at night or snuggling real close and stretching himself out?”
The woman said “Yes. Everyday and it makes me so sad that I can’t help him feel better.”
The vet says to the lady, “Ma’am your snake is not sick. It has been preparing to eat you. He’s been sizing you up everyday so he knows how big he has to be. He’s not eating so he has enough room to digest you.”
Moral of the Story
Recognize the snakes around you. Everyone’s intentions aren’t pure. Just because they seem close to you, doesn’t mean their intentions aren’t to devour you.
Some people aren’t PRAYING for you. they’re PREYING on you!!

Note: One factor bolstering this myth is the snake’s ability to consume animals that are larger than their heads.
Snakes are equipped with jaws that can stretch wide to accommodate surprisingly large prey. This jaw flexibility, along with their ability to take down and consume large creatures in the wild, often translates into fear and misunderstanding regarding how they might view their human caretakers.
Is it really a misconception that snakes “size” humans up?

The accuracy of this statement is debatable. Studies have found that snakes evaluate their surrounding environment all the time. But, this does not mean that they are measuring potential prey or a threat. They are understanding their immediate environment.

Morale of the story I don’t trust everyone either. I was asked once when I worked at prison by a convict why would a female want to work at an all male high sex offender prison. I said it’s easy. I expect you to try to assualt me, take me hostage, or try to assualt me. There’s about thousands of rounds of ammunition and gas at the north gate to defend me. Your worst enemies are your family and your so called friends. Gotta weird look from him. I explained you can hurt me physically can quickly heal and maybe leave a scare. Your family and so called friends will hurt you in the heart that’s the most hardest to heal if at all. Thought I was nuts but came back a few days later and said that I was right. Still to this day I still walk cautiously no matter where I am. I will always watch you watch me. Never get backed in a corner by anybody physically or mentally. This has saved me many a times emotionally and phychologically.
Excellent article once again

You are right. Thank you for your comment. Rejection by close family members, especially when you are young, can leave emotional or soul wounds that are very hard to heal. I have one that is about 50 years old.

First off you would have to be a little different to sleep with a snake that size! Humans just seem to ignore the fact we are on the food chain just like any other animal. If a wild animal is hungry enough and you cross its pass it is gonna be a bad day. Animals are a beautiful creation of god. We can enjoy their majestic qualities but you better darn well respect them. That’s why they are called “WILD”. Human minds have evolved with the ability to reason and understand. There are humans who treat others so nice and then take advantage of the relationship. Hurting or robbing them on purpose to prosper personal gain for themselves. That’s the difference between “WILD” and “EVIL”.

Wee have all met those snakes, but many do not recognize their danger until it is too late. You can’t blame that snake for being what it is. We all have our own degrees of friendship and needs. The snake was only living up to its potential and instinct for survival!
