“Come and cut it,” says Congressman Chip Roy, echoing the sentiments of the majority of his constituents who share a patriotic anger against the Biden Regime’s failure to protect us against the illegal invasion at the Mexico border.
Roy is our congressional representative in the 21st District, an area north of San Antonio and a significant portion of Austin here in Texas.
Towns entirely or partially in this district include Bandera (Cowboy Capital of the World), Boerne (Where I raised my family), Fredericksburg (Where two of our grandchildren were born), Ingram, Kerrville, Kyle, New Braunfels, and San Marcos (Where I attended Texas State University and studied Journalism).
“Texas has a duty under the Constitution, and every other norm of leadership of any sovereign state, to protect it’s citizens,” Roy said this week. “There is not exception to that. And if the Supreme Court wants to ignore that truth – which a slim majority did – Texas still has the duty to defend their people.”
“I stand with Governor Abbott and Texas to go to whatever lengths necessary to protect their state.”
“We can’t keep funding a government at war with Texas,” he continued. “The House and Senate keep funding a government that is at war with Texans.”
“Enough is enough,” he added. “I am calling on Republicans to stand up to secure this border – today.”
Last week The Senate wanted “to cut a deal with Mayorkas that will do nothing to end this crisis. Any deal they want to cut that does nothing to secure the border is dead on arrival when it gets to the House. Congress has the power of the purse and we’re going to use it to secure our southern border!”
