Remembering the Alamo, most Texans are watching close as the Biden Administration, Barack Hussain Obama, Deep State, and the far-left go nuts over what Gov. Greg Abbott is now doing to protect the Lone Star State and America.

In true Big Media and Democrat hypocrite fashion, there are no acknowledgments that it was them that actually began disobeying federal laws via their so-called sanctuary cities long ago, but are suddenly pearl clutching at Texas for fighting to protect her citizens.

Not only has Texas defied the Biden regime’s deadline to reopen El Paso’s Shelby Park to the feds, but right now, they are installing even more razor wire and fencing.

The park has been a major corridor for illegal alien crossings, human and drug smuggling and a major avenue for foreign enemy moles to enter the United States.

Merrick Garland’s Department of Justice filed a request late Monday with the Supreme Court to grant federal agents access to a portion of the border along the Rio Grande that is occupied by the Texas National Guard and the Texas Military Department.

Texas troops fenced off Shelby Park last week and have been denying the public and federal agents access to the city-owned land as part of Abbott’s aggressive actions to stop illegal crossings. 

An appellate court issued an order in November barring federal agents from cutting or moving Texas’ razor wire except in emergencies. The federal Border Patrol withdrew most of its agents and equipment from Eagle Pass after the appellate court issued its injunction.

Even National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd praised Gov. Abbott for blocking off this dangerous part of the border to allow “us to deploy our resources to other areas.”

While mainstream media echos what the Biden regime, Deep State and New World Order leaders want them to, Gov. Abbott set the record straight against their propaganda.

On X, Abbott wrote: “Turns out @RepCuellar (& some media) were so eager to point finger at Texas for drowning of migrants they forgot to get the facts. When BP requested access to river the drownings had already occurred & found in MX. The fact is the deaths are b/c of Biden’s Open Border magnet.”

Henry Cuellar, a Texas Democrat Representative and regular tool for far-left political causes, had earler claimed without evidence that federal border agents “made physical contact with the Texas Military Department (TMD) and the Texas National Guard at the Shelby Park Entrance Gate,” but were told “they would not grant access to the migrants—even in the event of an emergency—and that they would send a soldier to investigate the situation.”

As usual, TMD, had to set the record straight in this statement:

“Claims that TMD prevented Border Patrol from saving the lives of drowning migrants are wholly inaccurate. At the time that Border Patrol requested access, the drownings had occurred, Mexican authorities were recovering the bodies, and Border Patrol expressed these facts to the TMD personnel on site.”

Judd said of Abbott in the interview posted online on Monday, “He’s absolutely correct and everything that we see from DHS right now, it’s propaganda.”

He continued: “What we know about this is that even if we would’ve had access to the river, we wouldn’t have been able to get there on time. We do not have boats that operate at night and if we tried to deploy our boats to that river at that time, those people would’ve already drowned. So, there’s nothing we could have done, even if we had access to Shelby Park. And I’m telling you, we don’t need access to Shelby Park.”

Judd, again set the record straight:

“I’m glad for what Gov. Abbott is doing, because what it’s allowing us to do, we’re able to deploy our resources to other areas that we haven’t been able to patrol for several years now. And so, that’s allowing us to go after the gotaways—that segment of the people that cause a great deal of problem here in the United States,” he said.

“What he is doing is operating as a force multiplier. It is very good what he is doing for the American people. It’s something that President Biden should be doing, but he refuses to do because, again, he cares more about his base than he does about the American people.”
