Below is the statement Texas Governor Greg Abbott released on X regarding the illegal swatting at his McKinney home:
On New Year’s Day, a currently unidentified caller made a false report to 911 describing a life-threatening situation at our home in McKinney. As a result, the City of McKinney Police and Fire Departments quickly and bravely responded to what they believed could be a dangerous environment. We were not home at the time and were made aware of the false report when a state trooper, who was contacted by McKinney police, informed us of the incident.
Making false reports to 911 is a crime which should be vigorously prosecuted when this criminal is identified. These fake calls divert resources from actual emergencies and crimes and could endanger our first responders. We are grateful for the bravery and professionalism of the men and women serving in the McKinney police and fire departments.
It is also important to acknowledge that this “swatting” incident happened weeks after the disgraced Speaker of the House Dade Phelan, his lieutenants, and the Dallas Morning News doxed our family by publicly posting our address. We understand some people may not agree with our strong conservative efforts to secure the border, prevent election fraud, and protect our constitutional liberties, but compromising the effectiveness and safety of law enforcement is completely unacceptable.

I think Conservatives need to reexamine their commitment to police. Although police are necessary, they are union driven, thus often allied to democrat causes.
Looking for MTG, I happened on this:

She’s Far Right and a Conspiracy Theorist? Notice there are no Far Left Conspiracy Theorists! Trump was in collusion with the Russians, Not! But Biden isn’t in collusion with China (he is). But the media forgets about the Chinese part, and concentrates on the Russian part. Trump was too old, the media told us, but the older, dementia riddled Biden is fit for the presidency.
MTG was swatted several times. Clearly, the police are not stupid, so they are corrupt. After the first time, upon receiving a 2nd call on another day, the enthusiasm for a response shouldn’t be as strong. Upon the 3rd time, they should just call the home. How many Far Left Conspiracy Theorists are swatted by the police? Not any? Not many? Listening to the police radio, I’ve heard calls dispatched, and another unit would offer to take the call. The reason? They remembered the address, it’s an old woman, living alone, in need of company, frightened by their circumstances and maybe an unfamiliar noise. They took the call because they knew what to expect, they can be humane, understanding, not just technical and by the book.
These police swatting homes like automatons are really going too far. It seems to mainly happen on people that are conservative, yet we’re told the right wingers are nuts but don’t do the same to the left? Or do they, but police are selectively careful when the home belongs to a democrat? I tend to believe that conservatives don’t illegally use the police to harass and possibly kill leftists, but certainly other leftists must call in swatting calls against people they don’t like on the left as well. So why are conservatives mostly swatted? I tend to believe either initially, or on subsequent calls, they recognize various addresses and are most willing to enthusiastically swat when the call involves a known conservative. Police, unlike my Union Brothers and Sisters in the mill, don’t stand to lose their jobs to these asinine open border and environmental policies of the left. In 2016, my fellow union members abandoned Hillary and voted enmasse for Trump. Police have been subject to democrat Defunding efforts, yet still seem to support democrats.
If police swat a home of a famous person, like MTG, clearly they know they are harassing a republican and do so with zeal. It’s time police realize that this country is being destroyed by the democrats and rinos and stop being so controlled by democrat driven unions, because one day, their families will be affected by that destruction.

Far left Austin TX is a prime example of what you are talking about. Their Police department by design of the Soros Owned mayor, district attorney, city council, police chief, etc.has forced police counts to dwindle. They are paying the price now in crime…as planned.
