Congressman Advises on Terrorism Crisis Potential in US

New Poll: Majority of US Voters Favor Sending Military Troops to Border

Each day, the United States Border Patrol is clocking in excess of 1,000 (1/3rd of a million annually) “got aways” of illegal aliens invading the country.

“At least 1.7 million migrants evaded CBP since Biden took office,” said Chip Roy District 21 congressional representatives (R-TX). “Further, Border Patrol is sounding the alarm that Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah members may be crossing the southern border following the barbaric terrorist attack on our ally Israel.”

“In fact, a record-breaking 169 known or suspected terrorists were caught in Fiscal Year 2023 – we can only imagine how many more entered our country successfully,” he noted.

Note that since Roy’s statement yesterday, the total now exceeds 172 encounters of individuals whose names appear on the terror watchlist.

“The border crisis is far from over, and we cannot afford to lose sight of securing it,” Roy continued. “House Republicans must leverage every moving legislative vehicle possible to get H.R. 2 – the Secure the Border Act of 2023 – signed into law to stop this crisis.”

Meanwhile, fifty-eight percent (58%) of American voters either strongly favor (31%) or somewhat favor (27%) sending U.S. military troops and equipment to the southern border of the United States to protect national security.

A new Scott Rasmussen national survey found that only 28% of voters are either somewhat opposed (16%) or strongly opposed (12%) to sending troops.

  1. What will the troops be allowed to do? Will they be able to stop people from coming here illegally or just processing those people coming here illegally? What do you think about the new Speaker of the House?
