Some Woke, Obedient, Liberal Hospitals Begin 2023 Mask Mandates

Continuing to ignore reality and remain obedient to the social engineering of Big Pharma, Big Media and their owned politicians, some hospitals are pursuing their mask mandates for the 2023 season.

Predictably, woke controlled hospital administrators are stepping in line with CDC, New World Order, and FDA influenced propaganda hospitals to reinstate mask policies.

Note the locations of these hospitals and determine your own conclusions about the reality, politics and control these locations are trying to force their will on Americans.

Here are the hospitals and health systems that have already done so:

California

City of Hope in Duarte, Calif., has kept its mask policy intact as more conservative parts of the state have loosened theirs.

Kaiser Permanente Santa Rosa Medical Center reinstated its mask policy Aug. 22.

Connecticut

Nuvance Health in Danbury, Conn. reinstated its mask policy in several locations across the state in August.

Massachusetts

UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester, Mass., reinstated a mask mandate for staff Aug. 24,

New Jersey

Cape Regional Medical Center in Middle Township, N. J., has brought back its mask policy, on Sept.14.

New York

St. Joseph’s Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, N.Y. brought back its mask policy only for its emergency department setting, on Sept. 1.

Oswego Hospital has issued a 14-day mask policy for all clinical and patient settings. The original 2023 policy went into effect  Aug. 25 and is subject to reevaluation every 14 days.

Samaritan Health in Watertown, N.Y., now requires masks for staff, visitors, and patients across all facilities as of Aug. 31.

United Health Services in upstate New York have mask policies at: UHS Wilson Medical Center, UHS Binghamton General Hospital, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital and UHS Delaware Valley Hospital.

Auburn (N.Y.) Community Hospital has restored its mask mandate.

Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse, N.Y., reinstated a mask mandate Aug. 1.

  1. “There is a Science of Respiratory Protection – Time for Authorities to Apply that Science” that you were gracious enough to post, I still stand by it.

I was at a luncheon of sorts, not long ago, people my age and older, and I couldn’t believe the spittle projectiles that I received or nearly so. If they were laden in viruses, and a simple mask blocked them, truthfully, it would be worth wearing. But if not limited to spittle, if airborne, likely Masks and N95s won’t work.

Follow the money. I have seen hospitals do studies that said N95s were not statically significant in reducing infections over Simple Masks (for the flu and similar). The study is covering a few points. Many would take this to mean Masks are similarly effective to N95, actually, for the flu and similar, it’s saying N95s are as ineffective as Simple Masks. The Science of Respiratory Protection shows why. Negative Pressure Air Purifying Respirators leak, a little to a lot, training is involved, no beard, fit tests, and a series of deep breathing, talking, and motion exercises are needed to make sure the seal stays as good as possible in various positions and conditions.

The hospital that did the study got the results they wanted. The reason they wanted the results? I’d guess Masks are cheaper than N95.

Respirator Companies have done studies showing N95 superior to Masks. Of course, they make money selling Respirators, does anyone think they’d release a study saying Respirators don’t work for the flu and respiratory viruses?

Size does matter. N95 are designed to stop 95% of particles 0.3 Microns and Larger.

Tuberculosis Pathogen is 3 Microns, 10x larger than 0.3, yes, N95s will work (still some leakage, but most pathogens are stopped). covid pathogen is 0.125 Microns and Smaller, 2.4x Smaller than the Contaminant N95s are designed to stop. Clearly talking about filters, more than 5% will get through. The Seal of the N95 lets 10% get through, if it fits perfectly, if you’re clean shaven, and you’ve been fit tested, trained to use it, always use the same make, model, and size, use it properly, dispose of according to the science (handling the respirator with infected hands, manipulating the Respirator with infected hands, etc. may be causing more harm than good).

Security Blankets are fine, but they won’t protect someone from really extreme cold temperatures. And Masks and N95 will likely not significantly protect someone from airborne covid. There are PAPRs and CAPRs, I’m surprised they weren’t more widely used in Hospitals, but why would hospitals let science dictate policy, where was my mind?
