What justifies diversity in universities, public schools and in business?

Yes, what a lot of who shot john that word “diversity” is; an excuse for control freaks to set up quotas and tell us all how to be different their way! I think people learn to mix and be themselves just fine with some solid Christian thinking or even just by being left alone to figure it out. In Israel, with all the unrest that goes on, the different cultures meld anyway and do radical things like sharing recipes over fences.
Hope you are starting to feel a little better and that you both are getting some rest–in a hospital–well, try.

Thanks for clarity in your article. There’s something I learned during my second stint in college that I’ve never quite been able to get others to understand, though some have to degrees. I later understood it much better as a teacher, though retiring from the position a couple years back (It’s now a pure propaganda camp.). It’s looking into the speakers eyes, listening with your listening ears, but also keeping your principles of understanding right on your shoulders. In this, looking to see where someone is coming from is easy. In this, you can know if someone is speaking propaganda, rhetoric, or genuine truth. **The public, including some of my family and friends, don’t know how to do this, allowing flowery words and “pretended” good intentions to circumvent their understanding and get them in tow. It’s quite fascinating to see, but also quite troubling.

That’s something I’ve pondered. I believe there must be studies on methodologies, including lighting (Movies use lighting as a technique, I believe, to increase viewership.), to cause audience to go along.

The entire reason for these diversity trainings has something to do with not wanting to follow reason. It’s a difficult concept for most people to understand, but it’s true.
