Big Media Predictably Tries to Taint Fauci Hearing Truths

Pay particular attention to how the Mainstream Media, certain congressional and senatorial members spinned the Anthony Fauci narratives after Sen. Rand Paul announced how he was officially obstructing Congressional investigation by Congress by pleading the 5th.

The Usual Suspects of Big Media: Slanted Coverage

Sen. Rand Paul had to remove Dr. Anthony Fauci’s lawyer from his Senate hearing after repeatedly talking over Paul to defend Fauci after not being invited to speak.

“You will respect these proceedings. You were told not to sit at the table. You insist on sitting at the table. And we told you you would not be recognized. You are not invited here for testimony, sir. You are being disruptive.”

“Would you behave this way in a courtroom? No, because the judge would put you in jail. I can’t do that today, but I can have you escorted from the premises.”

“So I would say, sir, sit quietly and don’t say another word. I said sit quietly. You are not recognized. Another word and you’re gone.”

After another back-and-forth and the attorney’s refusal to listen, Paul then had security remove him from the room.

“Given Sen. Paul’s obvious obsession with calling for my prosecution, his repeated slanderous comments about me, and recently his publicly releasing my unredacted personal diary aimed at embarrassing and intimidating me, the only conclusion I can reach is that the sole reason he is calling me before this committee is to get me to say something that could vindicate his repeated public pledges that I end up, in his words, ‘behind bars,’” Fauci said in a prepared comment later.

There will be “consequences,” Paul warned.
“The Chairman has denied your assertion of privilege and directed you to answer. But you nonetheless refuse and stand on privilege despite the existence of the pardon.”

“The Committee will have to consider, after this hearing, what appropriate action should be taken against you for the failure to testify after being directed to do so.”

“It’s against the law to obstruct an investigation of Congress. There will be repercussions to your refusal to testify today.”

President Donald Trump himself ripped Fauci just as he arrive on Capitol Hill to testify before the Senate.

“I said from the beginning that the Virus came from the Wuhan Laboratory in China. Fauci strongly disagreed, always trying to protect China!”

“He made too many bad calls, like on MASKS. Remember at the beginning he was an anti-masker. He then switched to a super-masker.”

“In any event I didn’t let him shut the Country down, although he wanted to. I went the Federalist way, and let the governors decide. The Republican governors did a much better job than the Dumocrats.”

“Fauci was largely taken out of play, and then along came Sleepy Joe Biden, who made Fauci a “King!” I called Biden to tell him Fauci was no good, either didn’t have a clue, or was dishonest.”

“The call was well received, but sadly, not acted on. Biden went on to give Fauci vast destructive power. The rest is history!”

Sen. Bernie Moreno also ripped Fauci, slamming his handling of the pandemic, focusing on his own personal image.

“My Democrat colleagues are standing there defending you, I hope the voters, the United States of America, watch the clips of every one of you doting on a guy who was more interested in being a celebrity than saving American people.”
