Easy Homemade Chicken Salad with Fresh Ingredients


Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken, diced or shredded

½ cup mayonnaise

1 stalk celery, finely chopped

¼ cup red onion, finely chopped

1 tbsp lemon juice

Salt & black pepper, to taste

Optional add-ins

¼ cup grapes (halved) or apple (diced)

2 tbsp chopped nuts (almonds or walnuts)

Fresh dill or parsley

1 tsp Dijon mustard

Instructions

1. Prep the chicken
Use rotisserie chicken, boiled chicken, or leftover baked chicken.

2. Make the dressing
In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Combine.

4. Add chicken, celery, onion, and any optional add-ins. Mix gently until everything is coated.

5. Chill
Refrigerate 20–30 minutes for best flavor.
