THE REFUSAL: Democrat Lobbyists Fail to Say “No” to Non-Citizen Voting in Arizona

In a stunning legislative hearing, Arizona State Rep. Alex Kolodin of the Freedom Caucus cornered three separate Democrat-aligned lobbyists on a simple question:
Should only U.S. citizens vote in Arizona? The results were a masterclass in “word salad” and “fabricated reality.”
The Lobbyist Non-Answers

“I Don’t Know”: One lobbyist claimed they would have to “go back” to their organization. They needed to find out if they believe citizenship should be a requirement for voting. The Chair flatly called this response “not an answer.”

Taxpayers vs. Citizens: Jodi Liggett, representing Lucha, suggested that because non-citizens pay taxes, they should have “access to democracy.”
She refused to give a definitive “no” on whether illegal aliens should be allowed to vote.

The ACLU Pivot: Caitlin Contreras of the ACLU dodged the question. She stated voting should be “fair and accessible to everyone who is eligible.” She notably failed to confirm that “eligible” means being a U.S. citizen.
