The 99th parade featured dozens of iconic floats and balloons.

It showcased beloved characters such as Buzz Lightyear, SpongeBob SquarePants, Super Mario, and Spider-Man.

The annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade kicked off in New York City, on Thursday.
There were also appearances by Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Stuart the Minion, and Dora the Explorer.

Beagle Scout Snoopy, Derpy Tiger, and the wildly popular “ugly-cute” Labubu delighted attendees.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! Nice to see some pictures of Macy’s; I never see the parade because I’m driving down to my sister’s.

You should of done a little history on Thanksgiving like for instance one of the first thanksgivings was in 1578 and the first thanksgiving festival called the harvest feast was with the people of the Mayflower who celebrated it with the Wampanoag tribe back in 1621, they did not use turkey or maybe they did, they used pheasants, water fowl, fish, grown vegetables, oysters which they used for stuffing, then in the early 18 hundreds Sara Josepha Hale tried for some 36 years to get thanksgiving day as a national holiday, Abraham Lincoln listened and made a proclamation in October of 1863 declaring the last Thursday in November would be celebrated as Thanksgiving Dad for the Nation, everything else was just an add on
