The historical corruption of Barack Hussein Obama can be traced at least as far back as his time in Chicago. We provide links to some of these instances throughout this article.

Let’s start with Fast and Furious, an Obama Justice Department program that allowed assault weapons — including .50-caliber rifles powerful enough to take down a helicopter — to be sold to Mexican drug cartels allegedly as a way to track them.

Internal documents eventually exposed the real goal: to gin up a crisis requiring a crackdown on guns in America. Fast and Furious was merely a pretext for imposing stricter gun laws.

Their scheme backfired. Justice agents lost track of the nearly 2000 guns sold through the program but they started turning up at murder scenes on both sides of the border.

This included one that claimed the life of US Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry.

While then Attorney General Eric Holder was focused on Obama’s politics, people were dying. At least 20 other deaths or violent crimes were linked to Fast and Furious-trafficked guns.

The truth came to light only after Terry’s 2010 death at the hands of Mexican bandits, who shot him in the back with government-issued semiautomatic weapons.

Caught red-handed, “the most transparent administration in history” blatantly lied about the program to Congress, denying it ever even existed.

Then the Obama team conspired to derail investigations into who was responsible by first withholding documents under subpoena. This caused Holder to receive a contempt-of-Congress citation. He later claimed executive privilege to keep evidence sealed.

The court order was strong and the Obama team had to cough up over 20,500 “sensitive” documents.

Congressional investigators revealed they barely covered all the internal department communications under subpoena.

The degree of obstruction was “more than previously understood,” said then House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Jason Chaffetz.

“The documents reveal how senior Justice Department officials — including Attorney General Holder — intensely followed and managed an effort to carefully limit and obstruct the information produced to Congress,” he asserted.

The Obama Administration were caught red-handed, but corrupt media reported false alibis and narratives.

They reported the gun buyers were smugglers and claimed the goal was to trace the weapons back to Mexican drug cartels. Though some of the guns were later recovered, the agency lost track of many others.

When Terry was killed in 2010 near the Arizona-Mexico border, two of the weapons purchased under the Fast and Furious program were found nearby.

Here are more of Obama’s presidency scandals from 2009 to 2017 that continue to this day:

• Massive drone warfare and civilian casualties. Obama greatly expanded drone strikes in Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, and elsewhere, resulting in hundreds of civilian deaths.

• Libya intervention in 2011. Led NATO’s effort to oust Gaddafi, after which Libya descended into chaos, becoming a failed state and ISIS foothold.

• Warrantless surveillance and the NSA. Continued and expanded mass surveillance, collecting data on millions of Americans without individualized warrants.

• Obama used the 1917 Espionage Act (more than all previous presidents combined) to prosecute whistleblowers.

• The Bush-era Wall Street and bank bailouts continued. Obama’s administration failed to prosecute top Wall Street executives responsible for the 2008 financial crash.

• His administration formed kill lists and extrajudicial killings. Weekly meetings reportedly approved “kill lists,” including American citizens abroad without trial.

• Obamacare disaster. The promise “If you like your plan, you can keep it” proved false for millions. Health insurance premiums and deductibles skyrocketed, and 28 million Americans remained uninsured even after its passage.

• Yemen war support. Backed the Saudi-led coalition with weapons, intelligence, and refueling, leading to large-scale civilian deaths and what the UN called the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.

• Increased use of executive orders and administrative actions, bypassing Congress.

• Failed Syria policy. The “red line” threat over Assad’s chemical weapons wasn’t enforced, damaging U.S. credibility.

After His Presidency (2017–Present)

• Ordered intelligence agencies to spy on Donald Trump’s campaign to sabotage it. It’s documented that the FBI investigated Trump campaign figures under “Crossfire Hurricane.”

• Obama administration deliberately helped create and fund ISIS to destabilize the Middle East. Obama’s policies—like withdrawing from Iraq and mishandling Syria—are widely criticized for enabling ISIS’s rise.

• Ordered targeted illegal spying on journalists, political activists, and even members of Congress.

• Secretly orchestrated resistance to Donald Trump, coordinating government leaks to undermine his administration.

• Personally directed the IRS to target Tea Party and conservative nonprofits.

• Obama received enormous sums of money from foreign governments or corrupt deals in exchange for political favors.

Looking back, Obama wasn’t the antidote to a broken system. Instead, he was the corrupt system perfected. He was wrapped in charm, eloquence, and just enough illusion. This kept hope alive while the country’s foundations were quietly hollowed out.

In the end, he didn’t heal old wounds. Instead, he deepened them and weaponized them. He left us more divided, distracted, and disillusioned than before.
