By October 2021, parents across America had enough. They were outraged at the COVID masking and vaccination rules. After nine months of the Biden Administration, they were furious about critical race theory indoctrination. They were also upset about open porn disguised as literature promoted in American schools.
Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland doubled down and sent federal agents. A helicopter circled overhead to threaten parents at the Fairfax County School Board meeting in Virginia.
This was after Garland previously testified. He had said he was not sending the federal agents to threaten American parents who spoke out at their local school board meetings.
Garland had labeled the concerned parents “domestic terrorists” in a memo. The memo addressed the “disturbing spike in harassment, intimidation, and threats of violence” toward school officials.
Several US senators, Tom Cotton, a Republican from Arkansas, slammed Garland for what he said was an “outrageous directive siccing the feds on parents at school boards across America.”
Cotton pressed the attorney general. He asked why the Justice Department’s National Security Division would have a role in dealing with parents. These parents just disagree with school boards.
More parents began showing up to even more school board meetings across the US. They wanted to reject the porn and LGBTQ propaganda being forced on their children. Merrick Garland called them terrorists.
Garland seemed to talk out of both sides of his mouth when called to testify to Congress. He admitted that no “body of evidence” showed any uptick in violence at school board meetings. (Although there actually had been a father arrested because he rightly lost it when the Loudoun County board tried to cover up his daughter’s rape.)
Some newspapers, including the Washington Post, note that with the letter withdrawn, the AG was obliged to retract his public statement. It implied that dissenting parents should shut up or the feds might come calling.
“The White House, meanwhile, needs to come clean about its own role in this outrageous bid to squelch the free speech of America’s parents,” a Post editorial indicated.

I was one of those terrorists, repeatedly pestering our local school board over their moronic policy of requiring all of the children to wear masks to school — even though it was already well known to anyone who was paying attention that Covid posed no danger to healthy children, that masks are ineffective at preventing either infection or transmission, and that masking is harmful to children. All my time and effort were wasted, as the school board members couldn’t be bothered to worry about anything as trivial as the health and well-being of children. I guess they had more important things to worry about.

Awww, thanks, you’re so sweet. As I said to another blogger with regard to the Merrick Garland terrorism memo, I remember telling my husband that I should keep my duffel bag packed and next to the bed so that when the authorities broke into our house in the middle of the night to arrest me for terrorism, I’d be prepared. 🙂

I saw where Rasmussen is predicting that the Democrats will take back the House in the midterms. Of course, it’s way too early to predict that, but his point makes clear that evil never sleeps. and we have to stay vigilant and never let these people in power again.
