The truth is, CNN, a tool for progressive and woke propaganda, has struggled with viewership ratings for years.
In just a single week in November 2024, they marked their lowest-rated week since June 2001, bringing in an average of just 268,000 viewers. During that same week, Fox News averaged 1.4 million viewers.
Today
In the coveted 25-54 demographic (viewers with the most money to spend and voters to vote), on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, CNN’s primetime ratings plummeted to only 93,000 viewers for “Anderson Cooper 360,” and 76,000 for “The Source with Kaitlan Collins.”
“Laura Coates Live” finished off primetime’s 11 p.m. hour for CNN with just 46,000 viewers in the age group.
The best hour on CNN was still behind MSNBC’s worst hour and far below the worst hour on Fox News.
“The 11th Hour with Stephanie Ruhle” at 11 p.m. on MSNBC brought in 99,000 in the 25-54 demographic.
Fox News’ “FOX News @ Night” with Trace Gallagher brought in over 1.5 million total viewers with 194,000 in the key demographic.
Crashed & Burned
In 2022, CNN failed with their $300 million attempt of CNN+, an online streaming service.
Warner Bros. Discovery, CNN’s parent company, invested roughly $300 million into launching the online platform and brought on recognized names such as Chris Wallace to sustain it, only for it to collapse shortly after launch.
CNN’s idea for the next big thing, cultivated by a small group of disconnected executives who not only peddle propaganda, failed because they THINK they know what is best for people due to their own ideology and the cultivated generic data that tells them so.
Could they not see by 2022 the subscription fatigue, distrust, or “Bidenflation?”
Emily Jashinsky wrote in April 2022 for The Federalist, “The streamer’s rapid failure is a reminder that CNN fundamentally misunderstands its own brand. The network can’t be neutral because its definition of neutrality is out of step with the public’s—and it can’t be ideological for the exact same reason. This left CNN+ with nowhere to go.”
“CNN ran an entire ad campaign purporting to be the network that could distinguish between apples and bananas, meaning they alone could be trusted to sort fact from fiction,” Jashinsky explained. “They did this while perpetrating conspiracy theories and trafficking on an hourly basis in opinion and disinformation disguised as fact.”
Axios reported much of the failure was from investor executives who “thought there weren’t enough people willing to pay for subscription video news services to warrant the $1 billion investment CNN planned for CNN+ over four years.”

back in the very early 90s i started listening to Alex Jones and Frank Savage, Savage nation and they woke me up to all the lies the mainstream media put out, i was not programed back then, i just did not pay much attention to them, i was kind of in my own world
