Secretary of Transportation Slams Hillary Over Her Lies & Lack of Leadership

Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy cyberly smacked down Barack Obama’s failed former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton after she ranted about the age of Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) members investigating cyber government records.

“US airlines had gone 16 years without fatal crashes,” Clinton posted on X.  “Then MAGA fired the FAA chief, gutted the Aviation Security Advisory Committee, and threatening air traffic controllers with layoffs. Now there have been two fatal crashes. Hope your unvetted 22-year-old fix things fast.”

Sec. Duffy replied, “Madam Secretary, with all due respect, “experienced” Washington bureaucrats are the reason our nation’s infrastructure is crumbling. You need to sit this one out.”

“They have no relevant experience,” Clinton retorted. “Most of them aren’t old enough to rent a car. And you’re going to let them mess with airline safety that’s alread deteriorated on your watch?”

Duffy responded,” Big News – Talked to DOGE team. They are going to help upgrade our aviation system.”

Then, he slammed her with this:

“I know you’re lashing out because DOGE is uncovering your family’s obscene grifting via USAID, but I won’t let you lie and distort facts,” Duffy said. “The FAA administrator announced he resigned over a month before Trump took office, and the air traffic controllers were always exempt from Trump’s civil service buyouts.”

“The previous administration shamelessly used USDOT as a slush fund for the Green New Scam, throwing away money and resources on wasteful environmental and social justice projects rather than updating our nation’s antiquated air traffic control systems and other critical infrastructure.”

“I’m returning this department to its mission of safety by using innovative technology in transportation and infrastructure,” he continued. “Your team had its chance and failed. We’re moving on without you because the American people want us to make America’s transportation system great again. And yes, we’re bringing the 22-year-olds with us.”

Under a July 15, 2024 headline, “FAA Data Reveals 1,100 Runway Near Misses in 2024,” Newsweek reported, that  “According to the FAA, in the 12 months ended May 31, the total number of runway incursions reached 1,115.”

“Some 183 ‘operational incidents’ were reported, where the actions of an air traffic controller resulted in a plane coming closer than is permitted to either an aircraft or another obstacle, and 706 ‘pilot deviations’ occurred, in which a pilot violates FAA regulations in taking off or landing, doing so without receiving the necessary clearance.”

During the Biden Administration:

● In the 2023 fiscal year, there were 1,760 total runway incursions.

● In 2022, there were 1,730.

● In 2021, there were 1,574

● In 2020, there were 1,261.

During testimony before a Senate subcommittee hearing in June, Biden’s FAA Administrator Mike Whitaker admitted that his agency had been too “hands off” in its inspections of Boeing in the past after a string of safety issues.

ABC News, in 2023 reported that chief diversity and inclusion officer positions grew by 168.9% from 2019 to 2022 throughout the US.

By 2023, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, announcing the DEI hiring was not good for process improvement and efficiency, said the practice should stand for “discrimination, exclusion and indoctrination.”

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott signed a ban on diversity offices in state-funded higher education institutions. His office said “the issue is not diversity – the issue is that equity is not equality, and DEI practices conflate the two.”

“Some universities and woke professors have been using DEI to advance political agendas and exclude conservative viewpoints on college campuses,” the governor’s office continued. “These efforts adversely affect our students, limit exposure to diverse thought, and destroy our education system.”

By the end of 2024, Utah, Alabama, Iowa, Idaho, Kansas and Indiana barred DEI hires at public universities.

Most recently, major companies have banned, pulled back, or omitted (in their annual reports) DEI hiring, include Amazon, Amtrak, Google, McDonald’s, Meta, The Smithsonin Institute, Walmart,  Target, Boeing, Molson Coors, Lowe’s, Ford Motors, John Deere, Harley-Davidson,  Jack Daniel’s,

Soon after being sworn in,  Attorney General Pam Bondi directed the Justice Department will “investigate, eliminate, and penalize illegal DEI and DEIA preferences” at private companies and universities that receive federal funds.

She urged the department to enforce federal civil rights laws to push private companies to roll back DEI, and cited the Students for Fair Admissions v. Harvard Supreme Court case, which ended affirmative action, as cause for eliminating DEI at universities.
