A coalition of 16 states is suing the Biden administration over its January decision to pause approvals for new liquefied natural gas (LNG) export hubs.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed suit to block the Biden’s unlawful and indefinite ban on approving applications to export liquified natural gas (“LNG”) that the Department of Energy itself has already acknowledged has “no factual or legal basis.”
Texas, along with Louisiana, Florida and thirteen other states, filed the lawsuit to void the unconstitutional LNG export ban, which ignores the Natural Gas Act’s presumption in favor of exports, decades of Department of Energy policy, and State and private reliance on exports.
The states filed their challenge in the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana, alleging that the federal government broke the law by broadly denying relevant permits.
Texas is the nation’s leading producer of both crude oil and natural gas.
The other states include Mississippi, Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Georgia, Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Utah, West Virginia and Wyoming.

The Biden ban stands to harm the economy and the millions who rely on such energy.
“Biden’s unilateral decree disregards statutory mandates, flouts the legal process, upends the oil and gas industry, disrupts the Texas economy, and subverts our constitutional structure,” said Attorney General Paxton. “The ban will drive billions of dollars in investment away from Texas, hinder our ability to maximize revenue for public schools, force Texas producers to flare excess natural gas instead of taking it to market, and annihilate critical jobs. I will not stand by while Biden attacks Texas.”

Bulldog Paxton would make a good Attorney General of the United States-but then Texas would lose him. 🙂

Federal Government seeks to subvert and destroy its foundation, the people’s will, in favor of maintaining itself at the people’s expense and demise. But they still don’t think we get it.

But we do. Now what are we going to do about it?

Biden the puppet will stop at anything to hurt red states. Especially Texas. Obama/Biden are still trying to force the Green Hoax on the American people. Natural gas is far more reliable than renewables. And it burns clean. Fossil fuels are going nowhere soon. Limiting them are already effecting the U.S. and World economies. Energy cost is the driving force of nearly everything that is produced and transported. Biden/Obama pumped trillions of empty dollars into the economy and waged war on the energy sector. Then lie and deflect to the American citizens why inflation is high. We have are just beginning to see the effects of supporting millions of illegal immigrants. One thing is obvious, DemocRats hate America.
