Texas’ 21st Congressional District Representative Chip Roy talked with his constituents “and our country as a whole” by urging his fellow congress members to “Stop funding Biden’s lawlessness.”

“Last week, Laken Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student, was murdered by an illegal alien from Venezuela that the Biden administration released into our country,” he said.  “Every House Republican should be asked when they bring up Laken Riley and Biden’s dangerous release of illegal aliens onto our streets: 

“Are you going to vote to fully fund those dangerous policies? OR are you going to cut spending and demand actual security?”

Laken Riley’s life mattered and Biden must be held accountable. Congress must use every tool at its disposal this week to defend Americans. 

“Argentinian President Javier Milei has done something truly astounding — something American politicians have universally failed to do,” Roy mentioned. “He delivered on a campaign promise to cut deficits and created a surplus in Argentina for the first time in 12 years. It only took him a few weeks from his inauguration to pull that feat off.”

“It’s time for House Republicans to demonstrate that kind of resolve by using the tools we already gave ourselves to cut spending,”  he challenged. “Government funding runs out this Friday, and Congress must fight the reckless spending bankrupting our country and fueling a weaponized government at war with our way of life.”

“Milei has proven it can be done. House Republicans may not be able to pull off something that drastic, badly needed as it is, but it is past time for us to put up or shut up.”
