Seven years ago today, a renowned San Antonio, Texas doctor, Kris Held, gave me this statement about the state of American healthcare and what we should consider when we vote.
“We the people of the United States of America desperately need a leader who possesses common sense, business savvy, and commitment to make America great.”
“I’m a patient and physician who lives in the trenches of real life medicine and sees first hand the casualties of the government assault on America’s patients, physicians, the patient- physician relationship, our code of medical ethics, and the U.S. economy.”
Obamacare and MACRA “are massive government redistribution schemes and power grabs that rob patients of their choice of doctors, health plans, and individualized treatment, rob physicians of their autonomy to freely care for patients, and rob taxpayers of $3 Trillion per year…”
“Bad law is layered upon bad law and confounded by out-of-control agency rule-making. This must end,” she continued.
“At the peak of my career, I could be caring for substantially more patients, but federal laws, rules, and regulations restrict my ability to practice medicine, my life’s calling that required 12 additional years of arduous education and training after high school. What a waste of time, resources, and lives.”
“As a patient, my insurance premiums, deductible, copay, cost sharing and medications are exorbitantly more expensive, while my visits to my doctors (those who have not left medicine altogether) are impersonal, short, and consumed with nonsensical electronic health record data gathering and reporting.”
“This convoluted system can and must be fixed.”
“Fixing the mess starts with electing leaders who have common sense and business sense, and who understand healthcare law and will work tirelessly to repeal and replace Obamacare and repeal MACRA. Yes, we can fix this. And we must. Vote accordingly.”

I believe every word Drs told me 2005 I disabled myself doing a back flip off a ladder 15′ landing on my head popping the disc in neck lower back broke shoulder hip 12 years of rehab 4 surgery I found myself with 24 medications knees to my feet were black & purple their answer was amputation said I had liver cancer colitis and blood cancer I started following U Tube Dr that jumped from modern to natural healing toss the meds started natural herbs with in 30 days my color came back in lower legs no cancer in liver or blood Onagoligist couldn’t believe the change I was dropping 50 points a week ask what I was doing after paying 220 dollar every Monday out of pocket for 3 years I figured they didn’t deserve an answer. The medical is government taught & controlled every senior has a shoe box of poison synthetic pills they realize causes cancer 💥 Cancer institute was born hasn’t change in 100 years it’s all about the $$ Take control of your own health Im 70 years old very active thanks to nature.
