Shows to His Face How Mayorkas Repeatedly Lied to Congress and America

Indicating that “the crisis at our Southern border has raged on for two years too long, causing havoc and destruction for Americans, migrants, and the rule of law,” Rep. Chip Roy (R-Texas) said, Biden’s “Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas is largely responsible for this mayhem and undermining our laws; indeed, he should be held accountable.

“… our Founders anticipated that our country might face officeholders like Alejandro Mayorkas, which is why they provided the tools necessary to push back against them,” Roy, from Texas District 21 noted. “Now it’s time for Congress to use those very tools and begin impeachment proceedings against Secretary Mayorkas.”

“Since he took office, record numbers of fentanyl have poured into our communities, resulting in almost 200 Americans dying every day.

“Known terrorists have crossed our border on Mayorkas’ watch, only some of whom have been caught.

“Mayorkas has even gone as far as lying under oath about these dire realities in congressional hearings. He lied the last time he was brought in front of the House Judiciary Committee, saying he had “operational control” of the border.

“Alejandro Mayorkas has failed to faithfully execute the laws of the United States, he has violated his oath of office and endangered American citizens and foreign nationals alike. Congress should rightfully move to impeach him.
